I haven't preached violence. And yet, if someone violently attacks my loved ones or innocents in my presence, and I have the ability to end it, I would do it. Would I seek someone out to kill them? No. But to defend the weak against an aggressor ....yes.

I doubt that. You are talking to someone who was trained to k.ll. But as a Christian, I avoid killing. But I would if that's what was required to stop someone from harming or killing an innocent person ...my children, grandchildren, or anyone else in my care. Each situation is different.

Depending on the circumstances, I have done both ...because that wasn't the first, nor the last time I have had to stand up for, protect, or place myself between my children and an aggressor. In fact, I have had to place myself between an aggressor and a grown man who should have done so for me. :(
