You don't understand will or where it issues from. What a lack of understanding!

I never said such a thing, but I don't believe that Mary or anyone else was born without sin except for the Lord (who was begotten by the power of the Holy Spirit and not by the will of man.) Will is the source of sin in man until man is submitted to the will of God. Scripture also tells us that...

Who or what is a Christian ?

Once you figure out what a Christian is, then you can try to work out who Jeshurun is (only mentioned twice in scripture.)

Who or what is a Christian ?

How would Webster know? Was Webster a Christian? Does the world get to define what it is to be a Christian? Jesus said, "you must be born again", and how would someone who hasn't been born again even understand what it is to be born again? Nicodemus certainly didn't get it and he was a...

Before Time and Creation God was!! =the Alpha and Omega.

The white robe doesn't represent our righteousness, but Christ's, hence the divine name, the Lord our righteousness.

Is God omnipresent? If God is everywhere then the answer to your question seems obvious.

"Firstborn" in Colossians 1:15 doesn't have anything to do with the order of creation, but refers to the legal right as inheritor; Jesus is the inheritor of all creation. Those that receive the Spirit of adoption become co-inheritors with Him. The Spirit upon Moses was an annointing Jesus placed...

    Are the 144,000 literally "virgins?"

Zechariah speaks to each tribe mourning in its turn.

"No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him. John 1:18 The implication of the verse is that every appearance of God in the Old Testament was an appearance of the "Angel of the Lord" or the preincarnate Son of God (some believe...

Can a Christian be only partly saved?

I think scripture is pretty clear that we are to avoid defiling our conscience. If we decide to not "go back" for reasons of conscience its most likely a good thing for us (but may not be the best for others.) I think the correct thing to do when in doubt is to pray about the matter until the...

Can a Christian be only partly saved?

The Lord defined the word of God as truth, so I assume the apostle was referring to a love of the word of God. Those who develop no love for God's word would be inclined to follow falsehoods and be ensnared by legalists, false Christs, false prophets, vain philosophies, etc.

Can a Christian be only partly saved?

The individual described in Exodus 22:18 refers to the types who used plants to make potions for healing and other purposes including poisons and abortifacients. God isn't too happy with murderers and those that supply the means through organic chemistry.

Can a Christian be only partly saved?

The intended meaning of the word "cult" will vary somewhat with the person using it. Cult members rarely recognize themselves as being in a cult. Webster's dictionary gives a fairly broad range of definitions that generally refer to group standards. Since I don't identify specifically with any...

Can a Christian be only partly saved?

Cults are generally easy to identify as they make themselves the authority for all interpretation rather than allowing members the freedom of being taught by Christ. A biblical understanding of authority in the church makes leadership into servants, not lording it over the congregation...

    Are the 144,000 literally "virgins?"

If there is literal fulfillment of occurrences in the book of the Revelation, then it's unlikely that there will be any living Christians at the return of Christ. Since we are to know the Lord, even as we are known, in the resurrection, then who would the book be written for except us, now and...

    Are the 144,000 literally "virgins?"

Actually there is a parallel passage (or a few passages) which relate to us the tribes of Israel each mourning for Christ in their turn and 12000 is a "complete" number for the remnant of each tribe. These are a special possession for Christ, being descendants of Abraham with special promises...

    Are the 144,000 literally "virgins?"

All 144000 are witnesses, but we have a picture of them waiting "under the altar" for their number to be complete. The "two witnesses" who are slain in Jerusalem are also the last two; the return of Christ in judgment follows immediately after in the book and in that case the order is reasonably...
