    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

So are you saying you admit you do not keep them? Or would you like to say you do and are sinless? Be clear. I think it is obvious that all have sinned and no one ever kept them (but Jesus) As the bible says, if righteousness came by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

So do you think the bible teaches that men have kept the ten commandments? One assumes that anyone claiming we need to must keep them themselves. We must note that you did not answer the question you were asked. I wonder why?

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

Right, and even if all someone's works were burned they are still saved.

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

Sorry you lost the ability to discuss reasonably. Tell us then, do you keep the ten commandments, yes or no!?

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

Too bad the law brings death because no one could keep it. That is why Jesus died for us. No, the law is not some law of death. That is, if we could keep it. Since no one ever did, that is why we need Jesus. " Romans 7:5 explains Paul’s focus on the Law as leading to sin and death: “For when we...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

Of course the law is holy and good. Too bad you aren't quite so good yet though. God is good. There are none righteous, no not one. For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Because Jesus saves us the law is no longer death to us. Rom 8:because through Christ Jesus the law of...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

He tried. No one ever did it. Not you. Not Paul. Living in obedience to the law does not mean that Paul was successful but that he tried the best he could. Paul never said he never, for example, lusted. He said it was the law that showed him it was lust. Rom 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

OK,tks 15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. If saved has nothing to do with salvation, what would it have to do with?

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

I see. When I read that verse what is seems to say to me is that even if some people waste their life on useless work that will be shown to have been in vain and it gets burned up in the end, the person themselves will still be saved. His gifts and calling are without repentance. Even though we...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

I went back about 5 pages and didn't see what all this was in reference to. What was the basic point you were trying to make?

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

So no preaching, healing, shopping, business, moving, driving, entertainment, helping neighbours, medical appointments, repairs, phoning loved ones, sinning, or etc etc etc etc etc. (basically, although watching bible shows, going to fellowship if you really think you must and etc might be OK)...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

What exactly is it that people think we should do on Sat, if they think that the old Sabbath laws still apply? Stay home? Not cross the street? Go meet with Jews? Do be specific.

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

I simply asked you if you claim to be without sin. Yes or no. Don't try to wiggle out of it (if you don't like the word slither) Perhaps you should not say I have a certain doctrine. I do realize we all need forgiveness and that means we sin basically. That doesn't mean live in sin or willingly...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

You made that up. You also slithered out of answering a simple question. Do you claim to be without sin? Yes or no?

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

Here we go again. Let's look at the text You say after verse 5 is about and to unbelievers. 1 John 1:4 We write this to make our joy complete. 1 John 1:5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. In verse 6 we see it is...

That seemed obvious to me. However the poster apparently thought he knew otherwise.

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

Right, and even in the millennium when nations come up to Jerusalem to worship sabbath to sabbath, the saved Jews observing it at that time will be thinking about Jesus.

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

They did write to us. In the passage you cited, 1 Jn 1 from verse 5 on, I already showed that it could not have been to unbelievers. Let's be honest.
