If a person insists (for example) "you must ratify the Athanasian Creed to be saved" that is making salvation a matter of man's ability to pass a theology test. And I see a LOT of people do this.

Untrue. I said that if you wanted to understand different branches of theology, you needed to study. Since your questions have been about theology, that is the logical course of action. Again, until you are willing to do something (listen and/or study), asking any questions is pointless.
