    We must repent of sin.

You conveniently left out verse 15. (Philippians 3:15). Much love...

    We must repent of sin.

The point is that Solomon considered himself to be as wise as the fool. I have offered the scripture in question as a remedy for being wise in your own eyes; but if you don't want to receive it that is on you. Be wise in your own eyes if you so desire. I would only warn you with the following...

    Once Saved Always Saved

If the Holy Spirit is a Spirit, then He is not a different Spirit than the Spirit; since there is one Spirit (Ephesians 4:4).

    Once Saved Always Saved

I'm not certain that I understand your question. The Spirit and the Holy Ghost in this passage are one and the same Person.

    Dead to the Law

If you had a solid biblical backing for the correction that you offered, it would be accepted just fine. But since there is no proof for your contention, I don't see the need to change my point of view.

    Once Saved Always Saved

The Holy Spirit is not a Spirit?

    Once Saved Always Saved

It would help if you would reference or quote the scripture that you believe I am contradicting.

    Once Saved Always Saved

Oh yes He did. To them who will receive Him, to them He will give the power to become the sons of God, even to them who believe on His name.

    Once Saved Always Saved

    So, the Spirit and the Holy Spirit are two different Spirits? I thought that there is one Spirit... Eph 4:4, There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

    Dead to the Law

The context of Hebrews 10:26 does not change the meaning of what the author meant by "willful sin".

    Once Saved Always Saved

John 7:39 is not saying that the Spirit and the Holy Ghost are different "Spirits". There is only one Spirit (Ephesians 4:4). In this verse John, under the inspiration of the Holy Ghost, identifies the Spirit as the Holy Ghost. You must consider the context in John 7:37-38 also. Jesus...

    We must repent of sin.

Think what you want to think. I find when I read my Bible that the Galatians had already received the adoption as sons (Galatians 4:5-7) and that the adoption is defined as the redemption of the body (Romans 8:23). Therefore, it is possible to have the redemption of the body in this life.

    We must repent of sin.

I would again bring you to the scripture that is in question, which I believe speaks for itself. Ecc 2:15, Then said I in my heart, As it happeneth to the fool, so it happeneth even to me; and why was I then more wise? Then I said in my heart, that this also is vanity. Solomon here declares...

    Once Saved Always Saved

That makes no sense. Is not the Spirit of God holy?

    Dead to the Law

Deliberate disobedience, such as "uncleanness, fornication, and lasciviousness" (2 Corinthians 12:20-21) would stem out of this "willful sin" of rejecting Christ, don't you think? "Willful sin" while in context it may be speaking specifically of returning to the sacrifices of animals, has a...

    Dead to the Law

I, for one, am not taking any chances on the idea willful sin refers only to what you are referring to. For if I did that and ended up being wrong, and committed a willful sin (such as "uncleanness, fornication, or lasciviousness"), there would be no sacrifice for sins left but a fearful...

    Dead to the Law

I think that "willful sin" can refer also to what Paul spoke about in 2 Corinthians 12:20-21... "uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness"

    We must repent of sin.

You think that he cannot complete it in some of us before the day of Christ Jesus? He is coming for a glorious church, having neither spot, nor wrinkle, nor any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. He will return when He has completed the work in all of us. Some of us...

    We must repent of sin.

He is saying that he is not wiser than the fool because his wisdom couldn't keep him out of the grave.
