    How to live in Victory

You are not an evangelist; except for the doctrines of gnosticism. A real evangelist does indeed utilize the law as a schoolmaster to lead men to Christ (Galatians 3:24, Romans 3:20, Psalms 19:7 (kjv)).

    How to live in Victory

If that is the case, then Jesus rejected the Cross when He taught us what He taught us in Luke 8:12-13; and Paul rejected the Cross when he taught us what he taught us in Romans 11:20-22.

    How to live in Victory

I have no problem with these statements as long as they do not amount to the teaching that one continues to be saved when they cease from walking in the goodness of the Lord. If you are saying that I am truly sanctified and remain so, and that this is practical, then I have no beef with you. I...

    How to live in Victory

Abiding has to do with being connected to the vine. 1 John 2:27 tells us that the anointing teaches us to abide in Him. 1 John 5:18 tells us that the one who is begotten of God "keepeth himself, and the wicked one does not touch him." Romans 11:20-22 tells us that if we don't continue in His...

    How to live in Victory

An evangelist preaches the law as a schoolmaster to lead men to Christ. That is what you are not getting.

    How to live in Victory

Sorry, I can't help but have Bible verses that apply to what you are saying pop up in my mind so that I cannot believe you. It's really too bad, isn't it, that my knowledge of the Bible keeps me from believing your gospel and being "saved"? God must have written His word in such a way as to...

    Dead to the Law

What about what I have said makes you think that I am in disagreement with any of that?

    How to live in Victory

You are again misrepresenting me. I do not preach works except as the result of a living faith.

    How to live in Victory

I am not off in my understanding of that verse; what I preach on it is faithful and true.

    How to live in Victory

I do not say that I am the forum's only teacher, either. I have said that there is a sub-church within christianityboards called Mustard Seed Fellowship, which was (perhaps still is) my vision for an internet church. There may be other sub-sections of the boards who follow a different...

    How to live in Victory

@Michiah-Imla, et tu? You only say that because of our disagreement over John 8:24. I suppose that I have made a lot of enemies by preaching the truth here... So I do not consider it a fluke that many would come against me with statements like this.

    How to live in Victory

@Behold, you simply do not understand my theology on this. We all have indwelling sin; which does not preclude that we must practically commit sin; because the element of sin can be rendered dead within us (Romans 6:6, Galatians 5:24, Romans 7:8) so that it no longer has any say over our...

    Dead to the Law

A saint is someone in whom the element of sin has been rendered dead (Romans 6:6, Galatians 5:24, Romans 7:8) so that it no longer has any say over his behaviour (Romans 6:14). Scripture is clear that all have indwelling sin (1 John 1:8, 1 Timothy 1:15, Romans 7:18, Romans 3:23, Galatians 3:22).

    How to live in Victory

I do not preach a gospel of works and neither do I preach a gospel of self-saving.

    How to live in Victory

1 John 1:8 speaks of indwelling sin; while 1 John 3:9 speaks of practical sins. Indwelling sin can be rendered dead (Romans 6:6, Galatians 5:24, Romans 7:8) so that it no longer has any say over our behaviour (Romans 6:14).

    How to live in Victory

No, that seems to be your obsession. I spoke of that in a thread that has long been buried. I even mentioned that I was embarrassed by it. But you seem to keep wanting to dredge it up.

    How to live in Victory

The quotes are above for all to see....you claimed that I said something that I did not say...therefore you were bearing false witness about my testimony. Another lie. I have taught clearly that in Ephesians 1:13-14, those who have a heart faith that is unto righteousness (Romans 10:10) and...

    How to live in Victory

I want to say also that the fact that I have confessed my sins means that Jesus is faithful and just to forgive me of my sins and to cleanse me from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). So, it is not a fruitless endeavor to confess our sins; it will result in the peaceable fruit of righteousness...

    How to live in Victory

Do you sin, @Behold? Do you violate any of the commandments as Jesus re-defined them in the Sermon on the Mount in the practical sense?
  20. J

    How to live in Victory

No, I do not say that that can't be true. The one that is lying is you.
