God says that God gets what God wants, so why do you claim God is wrong?

By his very nature, God is vulnerable. Vulnerable to be hurt, to be exploited, to be rejected, vulnerable to misrepresentation. Love, in the true sense of the word is being vulnerable. Not so with the kingdoms of this world built on the logic of a fallen human heart. Its mode is survival of the...

God says that God gets what God wants, so why do you claim God is wrong?

A Universe that is free allows its citizens the right to make poor choices if they choose. Choices have consequences; they are not made in a vacuum. Death is alien to Life and therefore by extension alien to God.

God says that God gets what God wants, so why do you claim God is wrong?

Death is the cessation of Life. Death is the consequence of rejecting Truth. It is not an arbitrary punishment of any sort. Putting your hand in the flame will surely burn your flesh. Nobody is punishing you. You made a bad choice. Your burnt hand is a consequence of your poor choice.

I find it helpful to remember the the OT Prophets had the view that God is responsible for everything that happens, both good and bad. God says that God gets what God wants, so why do you claim God is wrong?

Yes, I am saying that. He nevertheless turns the 'impossible' horror to reveal his heart in such a way the whole created order is gob-smacked (Revelation 8:1).....not just mankind but the whole watching Universe/ Multiverse

God says that God gets what God wants, so why do you claim God is wrong?

The crucifixion was not something Jesus wanted anymore than a mother running onto the freeway to save her wandering child.....even while a B double is barreling down on her. Death is not something God designed or wants. It is an enemy, an intruder that results from poor choices. It is a...

    What are the eternal rewards?

Kick-arse is mens MO.....they want power to humiliate the other and elevate the self. God's Kingdom operates on the opposite principle. Humbling of the self rather than humiliating the other. The need or desire to humiliate is grounded in low self esteem. It does not understand the high...

    What are the eternal rewards?

You want to define rewards/ a crown, view it through the lens of servanthood, not through the lens of 'power over'
