    Calvinism vs. Arminianism

I am in the world but not of it (John 17:15-16).

    Discerning : The Water Cults

According to Acts of the Apostles 2:38-39, baptism in the Spirit is provided for through baptism in water as a confession of Jesus before men in identifying with Him in His death, burial, and resurrection as someone who is seeking salvation through the Cross. Yes, there is a Cross-accepting...

    Dead to the Law

It is never my intention to condemn anyone to hell. if the scriptures that I post make you feel like you are going there, you ought to consider that perhaps that is the conviction of judgment that is being operated by the Holy Spirit; and my response would be to turn to Jesus Christ and seek...

    Dead to the Law

I will only say to this that as a faithful minister, I am going to preach the Bible even if the verses in question hurt me. If I continue to be a sinner in the present hour, then yes, the scripture in question says that I am of the devil. I take solace in what Paul wrote to Timothy in 1...

Jesus Christ The Great I AM

by that you mean what the New World Translation teaches. No thanks, I'll stick with my kjv. Do yourself a favour and google "Watchtower false prophecies" Because if the Watchtower society is a false prophet, then its translation is not trustworthy. Actually, in John 5:18, the fact that...

Jesus Christ The Great I AM

There is always a viably alternate meaning to the text; which if you take as being the reality you will be gambling on eternity and if you lose, you lose everything. How much better to believe the interpretation that if you obey and follow, there is no chance of losing your soul in eternity...

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

Of course, it is written in Isaiah 9:6 that the son that was given shall have the name of "The everlasting Father"; which indicates that that is who He is.

For free will believers out there

It is a sacrifice that has to be made. Because some here, who preach sound doctrine, are under attack and are in danger of being banned because some who do not know their Bibles well enough are calling on the moderators to ban them for preaching doctrines that are faithful, though offensive to...

    No authority!

Then you also basically agree with his statement here. How then does he not understand the word of God?

    No authority!

If the general believer is a priest, then he can function as a priest. Case closed. How can you say that about him when all he even did right there was quote an entire passage and then make a simple, accurate commentary on what it meant?

    Dead to the Law

I think that I will, also, start calling you @NotReallyBloodBought from now on... I know I'm supposed to turn the other cheek and all, but I suppose that I am too weak for that (as Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 11)

    Dead to the Law

See Romans 15:1. We do sing a song in church to that effect..."Great is Your faithfulness, O God...You use the weak to lead the strong"... Which is not to say that it applies...because I am a stronger brother who bears with the infirmities of the weak 24/7. So do I... In the amplified...

The Trinity is the truth of holy scripture, as can be seen in my thread on the Trinity. True Trinity. (posts #1-#6)

I think that freedom of speech is the issue here that must not be compromised. God isn't fearful of false doctrines; He is perfectly able to deal with them as long as the saints remain diligent in refuting such things with the word of the Lord.

    No authority!

It does not specify the Catholic priesthood as being the priesthood spoken of, either. It specifically says "you". That includes every believer and is not confined to the ministerial order in Catholicism.

And again, you failed to answer the question. If Jesus is a true God, then He is the only true God. If He is not the only true God, then He is a false god. Which one is it? Do you believe what Jesus said in John 6:47?

For free will believers out there

Not a chance. James 2:19 tells me clearly that there is one God; and I can bank on the fact that my understanding is on the money with holy scriptures because I believe that word.

    Dead to the Law

It is merely your opinion that we are leading people astray; but we are giving biblical substantiation for our claims and if they go against your opinion, your response ought not to be to try to get us banned but to answer with a response from the word of the Lord that refutes our claims. That...

    Dead to the Law

Righteousness is a practical thing. 1Jo 3:7, Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. Rom 5:19, For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Mat 5:6, Blessed...

    Dead to the Law

She gave scripture to substantiate her viewpoint... Instead of calling her doctrine unbiblical, perhaps you ought to work at reconciling the scriptures that she has brought up with the scriptures in your mind that seem to contradict what she is saying.
