    Calvinism vs. Arminianism

The evidence for a middle ground is in 2 Corinthians 6:1-2.... my teaching was not extensive in the OP.

    Discerning : The Water Cults

I have written quite a few posts on the subject in this very thread, if you go back and just look for my posts, they should all be on the subject of baptism.

    Did Jesus Go To Hell?

Jesus did the actual preaching, to the spirits in prison (hell) when He was in the heart of the earth.

    Dead to the Law

It has everything to do with it. My baptism was an identification with Jesus in His death, burial, and resurrection; and as such it was a confession of Jesus before men. See Matthew 10:32, Luke 12:8 as to whether what you say above is actually true. The holy scriptures would disagree with...

    No authority!

Why did you omit the word "alive" from my post? Moses was alive at the transfiguration, for the disciples witnessed him being there in the body and talking to Jesus. Which does not preclude that those who are still in the grave are yet alive. None of those passages say what you said they...

A Christian who deny Jesus is God in Flesh

In Colossians 2:9, if God is likened to the ocean, Jesus is filled with all the fulness of the ocean in condensed form....the whole ocean fills the body of Christ...all of God.

For free will believers out there

That is an alternate interpretation to John 3:5 that you may decide to gamble on. However, if you lose the gamble, you lose everything. How much better to consider it baptism and then receive baptism in Jesus' Name? You will not only receive the Holy Ghost (Acts of the Apostles 2:38-39), but...

For free will believers out there

So, those who come to Christ are actually the elect. Therefore, if someone comes to Christ, they cannot be of the non-elect. If you can agree with this then I have no beef with you. I do think that Calvinism as a whole does, however, purport the concept that someone can come to Christ, or...

For free will believers out there

I believe it does actually prove that they will see Him. Rev 1:7, Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

Tong. While he is claiming to not be a Calvinist, he is preaching Calvinistic philosophy. It is his subtle way of saying that he believes that Calvinism is biblical.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

It is the work of God that we do (John 6:28-29).

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

Which does not invalidate my point; which is that a person receives Christ and then is given the power or right to become a child of God; not the other way around. You are bringing the doctrines of Calvinism. Chapter and verse? Obviously the verse in question is saying that the offer of...

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

Of course that is the basic teaching of Calvinism...so I was turning that back on you.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

John 1:12 does not say that "To them who became the children of God, them He gave the power to receive Him." It is placed in the opposite order. First you receive Him, and then you are given the right to become a child of God.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

That's because you are predisposed with a bias against the truth.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

Men are drawn by the Holy Spirit unto salvation...and in this, they are enabled to make a choice. If they make a choice in favour of Christ, then God the Father gives them to Christ.
