Would you claim, that Jesus was violent...

Was Jesus violent? When he had cause to be. When he cleared the temple forecourt of traders etc he had made a whip and single handed cleared that area. The temple guards the stall holders and money changers, who were all loosing money/property could not stop him. I...

    Baptism question that seems unbiblical

What is it that saves us? Is it faith/trust in Jesus's death and resurrection or the fact that wehavebeen baptised? Are we saved by faith/trust or by what we do?

    Born Again ?

So why did Nicodemus ask about getting into his mothers womb? If Jesus said 'you must be born from above' His reply makes no sence.

Is it scriptural to instruct angels?

Yes angels are ministering spirits, but by whom are they sent to minister to? It is very poot biblical skills to assume from that verse that we can give orders to angels. I would start looking for a church with better biblical skills.

CHURCHianity Spins the Bible from the Very Start!

Who says that Christians believe that they will never die? What evidence do you have for this statement?

    What would you do?

I suspect I would use what appeared to be a God given advantage.

CHURCHianity Spins the Bible from the Very Start!

If you are not prepared to do something are you qualified to question those that have to do what you question?

CHURCHianity Spins the Bible from the Very Start!

And if you were required to bury anyone who applied according to a book of services, written when it was asumed that everyone was a Christian. How woiuld you conduct the service?

    Baptism question that seems unbiblical

Would that were true, I like Paul find all to often the good I want to do I don't do and the evil I don't want to do I do. Baptism shows we are Christian and are seeking to be obedient. Like communion it is a picture that challenges us and strengthens us in our relationship with God.

CHURCHianity Spins the Bible from the Very Start!

As Jesus said,' aptise them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.' Yes the trinity isn't crystal clear in genesis or in the OT, but it is there, just as it is in the NT.

    Brain washing your kids.

If a poster thinks so little of a link that they say nothing about it. I don't watch or read what is on the link.

    Baptism question that seems unbiblical

And when did you literaly go down into the grave with Jesus? As col says we were baptised into his death. We didn't die or get burried, or acended into heaven. These are all things that are attributed to us and baptise is a picture of them. We are not made Christian when we are baptised as...

    Brain washing your kids.

No coment about a linked video means that video isn't worth watching as the poster can find nothing interesting or challenging to say about it.

    Baptism question that seems unbiblical

Baptism is symbolic only. I was a Christian before I went for baptismn. My going down into the water and coming up out of the water were symbolic of my going down and up out of the grave. If there was something in the water of baptism our congragation would be leaving soaking wet. The...

    Baptism question that seems unbiblical

And he is right, there is nothing magical or spiritual about the water used in baptism. Once the service is over the plug is pulled and it drains away. Did you ask your pastor what he meant by saying he'd baptise people multiply times to get it right?

    Repentance after death

Romans 1:18, The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God’s...

    Repentance after death

It is 'Good News' because it tells us how we can be in a right relationship with God. But it also makes crystal clear that there is only one way to get right with God. That means it doesn't matter how nice a person is, if they have ignored the clear evidence that there is a God and have not...

God covers us with His righteousness:

Yes, it is God who saves us, who chose us from before he created the universe, who predesined us to be his Sons, co-heirs with Christ.

How do you 'strive' or wish to be like Jesus Christ?

This is unusual. A reply from you that I can agree with. Are you feeling alright? mmm am I in my right mind? Where did I put the 'dried frog pills'?
