What is : The Meat of the word

I certainly do not teach that. I would teach that grace, when taught incorrectly, is "a license for immorality" (Jude 1:3-4 (niv)). In other words, people who teach grace as a license for sin are false teachers. By teaching that people can sin all they want if they are under grace, they lead...

    No authority!

I find that, while Paul the apostle wrote this verse in order to deter people from preaching a false gospel, that today it is being used by the devil in an attempt to deter people from believing in the true gospel.

I don't see that at all. I am not getting baptized every day. I am not renewing my salvation every day in baptism. I entered into the Christian faith by identifying with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection; and this was a confession of Jesus before men. The water does not have any...

    Methodism, Sanctification, and Dangerous Doctrine

I think that you may have misread my post. I am saying that these doctrines are NOT dangerous. He said this in the OP.

What is : The Meat of the word

Now I realize that Paul the apostle used this verse as a deterrent from preaching a false gospel; but it seems to me that the devil uses this verse today to put fear in people's hearts as concerning the true gospel.

What is : The Meat of the word

So, by your estimation, God's goodness is imputed righteousness only; and has nothing to do with anything practical. Just another indication to all that you are not a faithful teacher of the word of God. See 1 John 3:7, Romans 5:19, Matthew 5:6.

    No authority!

I think that if you are going to accuse me in this way, you need to give scripture that substantiates your viewpoint. You won't be able to find any; because the things that you say that, if I teach, I would be blaspheming the Holy Spirit, are teachings of holy scripture. That water baptism has...

How did God do it ALL ?

Then he would be contradicting himself; because he teaches that we are our flesh in Romans 7:18. Chapter and verse? You continue to bring up things that I said many months ago as if they were still true of me today. I sin less and less as time goes on. Pro 4:18, But the path of the just is...

    Methodism, Sanctification, and Dangerous Doctrine

I do not believe that either teaching on sanctification or the witness of the Spirit is what we should call "dangerous". Can it be misapplied? Very likely. But when it is applied correctly, it can produce a wonderful fruit of righteousness for the believer.

    Calvinism vs. Arminianism

Okay. It seemed to me that you were implying a Universalistic understanding on your part.

What is : The Meat of the word

Now what is taught by the holy scriptures on these issues? Rom 11:20, Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: Rom 11:21, For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. Rom 11:22, Behold...

My prayer as concerning those who fight against me on these boards.

I am not against people having their own opinions... However, one person on these boards has chosen to fight against the doctrine that I preach by calling it a "FALSE and PERVERTED gospel"...and yet he is the one who has perverted the right ways of the Lord by preaching that a man does not need...

    No authority!

If you are referring to the kjv then I believe that you have committed borderline blasphemy of the Holy Spirit if you haven't crossed the line. For the kjv, in John 3:5 and in 1 Peter 3:20-21, does in fact teach that we are born again / saved by water. And is it not true that the Holy Bible is...

    Discerning : The Water Cults

Yes, you did. For Jesus said the following. Mat 6:14, For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: Mat 6:15, But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Mar 11:25, And when ye stand praying, forgive, if...

    Discerning : The Water Cults

The Apostolic Fathers are not the source...the Bible is the source, as it was written, not by the Apostolic Fathers, but by the apostles. It is not whether we agree with the early church fathers that determines whether they are right...for even they and their writings were intended to be held...

    Discerning : The Water Cults

nasb95: Heb 4:12, For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Sometimes we need to be ministered by the word of God...

A Christian who deny Jesus is God in Flesh

The biblical authors believed in and taught the Trinity.
