Well never having watched teh movie, I cannot speak to what it teaches on atonement. I do know way too many believers will take a movie and make it doctrine, instead of filtering what a movie says on a "Christian tenet" through the word of God.

Well I don't think Paul tops Jesus. but one has to take into consideration the who and when and why of why Jesus said what He said. All SCripture is equally inspired, but not all Scripture is equally applicable.
