    Calvinism vs. Arminianism

Can you show me biblically the justification for saying that a person is irresistibly drawn to Christ? I think that the same verses that you use to justify that doctrine, can be interpreted to be teaching what I am saying; if you go into the fray with the understanding that mankind is...

It consists of all those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ for salvation. Others have mentioned how the Catholic Church fell into disrepute so I don't feel the need to go into that here. Yes, the Holy Spirit revealed that to me. Tracking down those people would be a hit and miss...

Thank you brother I appreciate that.

rejecting Jesus Christ is different from the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

I fail to see what it is about my post that leads you to "give up on me"...

rejecting Jesus Christ is different from the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

Then why did He say to the Father, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

How to be saved (born again) and join the family of God!!!

There is one baptism (Ephesians 4:5); so your question is moot. So, you're saying that water baptism isn't baptism. Because if water baptism is even baptism, baptism is three-in-one: 1) water, 2) Spirit, 3) fire. You cannot have one without the other two; and you cannot have two without...

Repentance is the Gift Of God !

No; in accusing me of lying you are even bearing false witness against your neighbor. The Bible says not to do that; you are violating one of the ten commandments. It is faithful and true that men have a decision to make when the Holy Spirit draws them. Jesus and the Holy Spirit are a...

    Wet Paint Principle (Freedom)

I just finished watching a program on television wherein the devil attacked the last name of my pen name Victor Jedidiah as a cult leader who identified himself as "the prophet Jedidiah." Apparently I am no longer invisible to the devil's radar and am considered to be a threat to his kingdom...

How to be saved (born again) and join the family of God!!!

"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened unto you" is what Jesus said. So, I would say that the key to receiving remission of sins has to do with asking, seeking, and knocking. Baptism in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the door...

Repentance is the Gift Of God !

God is not a mafia boss: He doesn't give you "an offer that you can't refuse." You are bearing false witness by saying that He operates that way. Jesus and the Holy Spirit are a gentleman. Therefore, when He draws a person to salvation, they must decide whether to receive or reject Him. If...

    No authority!

And of course the gates of hell did not prevail against the true church even though they prevailed against the organization that was identified as the Catholic Church. For the true church consists of all those who believe in Jesus for their salvation along with what He did for them on the...

So, your decision is to ignore the verse of scripture that I have presented. I suppose that is one way of dealing with it when you have been defeated logically.

How to be saved (born again) and join the family of God!!!

Repentance is a part of salvation but not the whole. So, if a man repents but does not get baptized in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth for the remission of sins, do they have the remission (forgiveness) of sins?

The Holy Spirit is a "He" not an "it".

That all scripture is given by inspiration of the Lord and that everything in holy scripture is the revelation of the Holy Spirit to mankind.

Nope. Apparently you missed one of my posts (rejecting Jesus Christ is different from the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.). LORD = Lord. Psalms 8:9, Ephesians 4:5. The Holy Ghost is the Spirit of Jesus after He was released to the Father at the Cross (LUke 23:46). He has lived a...

rejecting Jesus Christ is different from the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

In 1 Corinthians 8:6, there is one Lord Jesus Christ who is not one of many lords. If He were one of many lords then it would not be said that there is one Lord Jesus Christ; it would be said that Jesus is a lord; even one of many.

Okay, I will interpret this as you conceding the point and that you do not want to argue any further. Also, what we are debating is not the man-is-God thesis; but the "God-is-become-Man" thesis. There is a difference.

If this seems to be a contradiction to you then go here: True Trinity. (post #5).
