So what's so new about the new Covenant, and is it better, really?

Unfortunately the damage that you are causing in fighting against the true gospel of Jesus Christ may be irreparable. Someone may believe that I really am preaching a false and perverted gospel and not be saved because they failed to receive the gospel. So, I am not going to take your sin upon...

So what's so new about the new Covenant, and is it better, really?

You have three fingers pointing back at you (Matthew 7:1-5, Luke 6:41-42). And until you repent of calling my gospel false and perverted, I do not forgive you (I retain your sin). And I feel the need to warn you that I do have the Holy Ghost. So, if I retain your sins, they are retained by...

    The Case Against the Trinity

Jesus became a life-giving Spirit when His Spirit left His body at the juncture of Luke 23:46. The Holy Ghost, released into eternity, is the Spirit of Jesus and is therefore Jesus. Otherwise you are denying that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh (see 1 John 4:1-3, 2 John 1:7). Jesus Christ...

rejecting Jesus Christ is different from the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

Everyone will get a resurrection (Daniel 12:2); whether unto life or unto condemnation (John 5:29). If anyone rejects faith in Jesus Christ, they are already condemned (John 3:18) and will not be raised unto life if they die in that state. And it was not committed by Adam and Eve, but by satan.

So what's so new about the new Covenant, and is it better, really?

Be sure to take Ezekiel 33:11-20 in your Bible and cut it out with scissors... But just also be certain that you know the consequences for doing that (Revelation 22:18-19). So what's so new about the new Covenant, and is it better, really?

So what's so new about the new Covenant, and is it better, really?

I was going to say this in a different thread, so I'm glad you brought that up. We know that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh; that is, in a finite human body (1 John 4:1-3, 2 John 1:7). Yet, in Ephesians 4:10 we find the knowledge that Jesus Himself is Omnipresent. How is He Omnipresent if...

Repentance is the Gift Of God !

Nope. Your comment is invalid. Did God force you to receive His grace? You didn't choose Him but one day you found yourself suddenly born again through no decision of your own? God is not a mafia boss: He doesn't give us "an offer that we can't refuse". And that is a very valid comment...

    The year of discrimination.

I believe that the year of discrimination will be identified as "the year of conviction" by liberal democrats; especially those liberal democrats who can't keep from watching Fox News.

    The Case Against the Trinity

Can you repeat your post without using a run-on sentence? Thanks.

    The Case Against the Trinity

I believe that He was dead and in the grave for three days...I also believe that He rose bodily from the dead. You don't?

    Discerning : The Water Cults

No amount of prayer is going to get him "un-baptized".

    Discerning : The Water Cults

What does "every one of you" mean? Just you? Just one of you? No; it means every one of you. Is the English language not translating well enough for you?

    Discerning : The Water Cults

Act 2:38, Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Act 2:39, For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the...

    Discerning : The Water Cults

    Discerning : The Water Cults

It wasn't their faith that appropriated for them the remission of their sins. It was being water baptized in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth for the remission of sins, that brought them remission of sins.

So what's so new about the new Covenant, and is it better, really?

Actually, I was using other people as a springboard to share the true gospel even before you started frequenting these boards. I just didn't boast about it.

So what's so new about the new Covenant, and is it better, really?

I know how I got that way in your opinion... I asked the Lord to give me a motivation in holy scripture to repent of my sins that were so easily besetting me... And the Lord led me to Ezekiel 33:11-20. And when He set me free, I evidently "fell from grace". So what's so new about the new...

So what's so new about the new Covenant, and is it better, really?

We have been foreordained by God to walk in specific works (Ephesians 2:10) and it is a sin of omission to have the Holy Spirit lead you to do something and then you fail to do it. But if God has not foreordained that work, for me to fail to do it does not qualify as a sin of omission. If I...

So what's so new about the new Covenant, and is it better, really?

I certainly don't think that I am justified through keeping the letter of the law. However, because I have been justified by faith in Christ, I now have the Holy Spirit; and the righteousness of the law is fulfilled in me when I walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit. I am not saying...

So what's so new about the new Covenant, and is it better, really?

However, you say elsewhere, that "You and I both sin every hour of every day." So then, if you do what you want to every hour of the day, what you want to do is sin.
