Born again of God vs religious conversion

Given your heart, I am glad you are not the one who determines who God saves and whom He doesn't. I can't wait to see your jaw drop when you find out you have been belieiving a preaching a lie that you no longer sin in thought word and deed . EVER.

Which Existed First, The Almighty God or The Holy Scriptures?

SCriptures came after Adam and Eve lost the ability to walk with God on a daily basis due to sin. The Scriptures were recorded to mark down how god calls His people in differing time frames.

The Bible teaches repentance unto confession, not confession unto repentance

Well I shall give you one last chance to acknowledge your lying about my beliefs. If your next post does not contain this, I shall shake the dust off my feet and place you on ignore. You will have to answer for bearing false witness and lying about a brother.

Why hadn't the baptized believers in Samaria received the Holy Spirit?

So first century Christians could handle snakes and drink poison without harm and healing the sick but the other 20 centuries of Christian can't? Interesting. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They...

Why hadn't the baptized believers in Samaria received the Holy Spirit?

Getting saved is trusting (belieiving) in the death, resurrection of Jesus for your sins. Nothing else. Everything else in the Christian life comes from that.

Why hadn't the baptized believers in Samaria received the Holy Spirit?

Very simple- believe on the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus for their sin debt and then they receive all of the Holy spirit. Getting saved means belonging to God and as Paul wrote: 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any...

Why hadn't the baptized believers in Samaria received the Holy Spirit?

Well as to point two- it would seem that then this confirming is now extinct if it had to be by an apostle. 1. Jesus commanded people to be baptized the name of the Trinity- Samaria had not been baptized thuus. 14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received...

A Christian voting for President now may be a sin

No I don't confuse. Anything granted by the constitution can be removed by the constitution. Either by amending the constitution (as we did for blacks and women to vote for they did not have those rights to much later) or be executive order during times of a declared national emergency. Just...

We are judged by works, not by faith

In the gospel handed down by the Apostles, the repentance is to change ones mind. Repentance is the word metanoia (meta=change, noia, thought). It means we change our mind about god and all that comes to entail. We change our mind about who Jesus is, what it takes to be saved and receive...

A Christian voting for President now may be a sin

Oh I agree, but it is still a privilege that many countries do not have. and that right can change anytime an evil POTUS ascends power.

Why hadn't the baptized believers in Samaria received the Holy Spirit?

One cannot be a Christian without the infilling of the Holy Spirit. That is what is meant by being baptized in the Spirit. John 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be...

You will be in my neighborhood! I live in Little River which is just 20 miles north of Myrtle Beach. Would be great to get together and have a cup of coffee or something.

A Christian voting for President now may be a sin

Well for now it is a right. but that right can be removed at any time the govt. so chooses. Even though embedded in the constitution, a congressional declared national emergency allows the govt. near total dictatorial powers and they can cancel elections or even the right to vote. It is a...

Are the ANOINTED only among the Jehovah's Witnesses?

Sorry but the false connecting by the Watchtower of the anointed, born again and 144,000 is a man made and not God declared doctrine. There are no "anointed" in teh Watchtower organization. Reason? By denying the physical resurrection of Jesus, they have excluded all from teh kingdom of God...

    Why Hitler killed the Jews

Hitler was a prototype of the Antichrist. even the hierarchy of the New Age movement declared Hitler was the last prototype before the Antichrist comes forth. that will is packed full of lies. He hated Jews because he was controlled if not possessed by demons.

    Many Denominations

We follow Jesus and not a specific religion. In seeking a fellowship to belong to requires prayer and looking athe church. God will guide you to the right church. It willbe one that is not perfect, but is seeking to glorify god, takes His Word seriously, and has a passion for the people and...

A Christian voting for President now may be a sin

Voting is a privilege in america that many countries do not have or only appear to have. We are not voting for Pastors or Elders, we are voting for human govt. Paul appealed to Cesar and used his rights as a Roman citizen to advance, we should do the same. there will be no perfect candidate...

    UAW will not talk today.

Well seeing as America was founded on rebellion against government, striking is a natural outcome of that. Strikes are against the Word of god no matter how bad the employer may be.

What do people's spirits look like?

Don't know. and God has considered it irrelevant for us to know in this life. If it was important for us to know, He would have made sure it made it in Scripture.

The Bible teaches repentance unto confession, not confession unto repentance

You arew right, repentance is unto confession unto salvation! After we are believers we no longer need repentance for we have already changed our mind, but growth in knowledge (Romans 12) and the confession to forgiveness as a believer.
