You can not be my disciples, unless? (The Cost)

Well there is debate about whether the rocky ground are saved or not. But Hebrews 6 is not about saved at all, but people who have heard, tasted and have been illuminated. To make the story short, it is about Jews who were taught that teh Levitical sarificial system could not take sin away.

You can not be my disciples, unless? (The Cost)

What you write is personal opinion and not Scripture. Scripture contradicts that. Gods Word speaks of people who lived religiously but God never knew them (MAtt. 7) and people who once fellowshipped but left for they never were saved( 1 JOn 5) but never speaks of someone being born again...

Justified by works: Keeping the law of God is not a sin

I agree with all this. but truth is truth and as the followers of Jesus as is commanded in Jude we are to earnestly contend for the truth. Wrong beliefs always produce wrong results in a persons life. If a person is truly Born Again, then they are saved forever no matter how good or bad...

You can not be my disciples, unless? (The Cost)

That is always fine, but when you are on a thread and then post a Scripture without it pertaining to the topic, you should say so. Otherwise people will wonder what you are trying to convey.

You can not be my disciples, unless? (The Cost)

Once saved always saved is the biblical truth! Sin is no longer the issue. Once a person has accepted Christ--all of their sins have been removed. If a person could lose thier salvation because of sin (and loss of faith is a sin), then Jesus did not die for all the sins of a person.

I know and have taught on this parable many many times. what are you trying to get at?

Living what we preach. Faith alone vs faith with works

And I have agreed with this, so why do you keep bringing it up? I pray and do so what is your issue?

Living what we preach. Faith alone vs faith with works

And I know th eLord gives understanding. so why should I accept what yo0u say is from the Lord and not what I have learned or those who have shepherded me over the years?

We are judged by works, not by faith

Not sure what is the story. I cannot know the intnent of why people start a thread unless they declare it.

You can not be my disciples, unless? (The Cost)

Do you mean if one can lose their salvation? That is not possible according to the Word of God.

Will be the planet Earth destroyed by Jesus?

God existed for eternity before He created the material universe. He does not need the material heavens for a habitation.

Most Prophecy Teachers Clearly Reject God's Word!

So why are you being so judgmental? Are you trying to live up to that picture of the crotchety old man you chose as an avatar? Israel did live in all the land, but only for a time, they have not possessed all the land as a perpetual habitation as the covenant god made. so that possession is...

It's about time to set China right.

Just one problem here. China is a permanent member of the UN Security council and has veto power over anything that may come to a vote against them.

You can not be my disciples, unless? (The Cost)

Discipleship is different fro mbeing saved. It is something that comes after one is saved. We are all called to discipleship and one must consider the cost- for it requires all. If one fails in discipleship or only goes so far and then stops, that doesn't mean they have lost their salvation...

Will be the planet Earth destroyed by Jesus?

The Bible says it will not be. Much of the surface of the earth will be devastated by the tribulation. when Jesus comes, after He judges the nations, He will restore most of the surface to an Eden like state for the 1,000 year kingdom. It is after this kingdom that God destroys the current...

We are judged by works, not by faith

Well poutside of the standard biblical ones common to all believers (love, caring, meeting needs etc.) the rest are set for each indiviual. Example god decides who are to be missionaries and which country they should serve in. The good works are more concerned with the individual plan of God...

Living what we preach. Faith alone vs faith with works

So to you Paul is lying then. All of your worldy examples of just and justification mean nothing. It is the biblical definition that matters and justification biblically means being declared righteous. We are declared righteous by faith alone! Jesus becomes our righteousness. then we are...

Hellfire and brimstone has given way to eternal separation from God. - Why?

brimstone today is known as sulfur. It is a toxic and flammable chemical. Its most commonly used form is sulfuric acid which is a highly corrosive substance. Refining chemical agents do so by destruction. Burning off unwanted things. but if lefty unchecked it would destroy the whole material.

If all children go to Heaven and if Hell is forever then it seems that it's GOOD when children die, right?

I agree that a believer must raise their children in godliness and to learn to love the Lord. but this passage is a metaphor and not a literal thing. Jesus is saying that we must come to Him like children (unbridled trust) He was not amking a doctrine saying that all children everywhere are...

If all children go to Heaven and if Hell is forever then it seems that it's GOOD when children die, right?

So you are saying chhildren are saved without being born again? and then they at some point lose their salvation and have to get born again--again?
