    We cannot both be right.

I've Blashphemed the Holy Spirit. What now?

I think that maybe you should go back and read through this thread; paying special attention to the posts that I have posted.

I've Blashphemed the Holy Spirit. What now?

I tend to think that he is wrong just as he tends to think that I am wrong.

I suggest that you read Hebrews 3:7-8, Hebrews 3:15, and Hebrews 4:7, To @HisLife.

You accuse me of being a liar but you cannot even show where I have lied. Your accusation is baseless, accuser.

I've Blashphemed the Holy Spirit. What now?

Surely you are the judge of that.

No I am asking you...you are the one who has made the accusation...back it up.

Please use the quote feature and post what I have said that you think is a lie. Because I think that you are very likely merely misunderstanding what I have posted. He has died for all of the sins that I have ever committed. You're right...I don't think this...I know this. That may very...

I've Blashphemed the Holy Spirit. What now?

Having no sin would mean that sin does not any longer indwell us. I am not saying that. I am saying that sin, as it does indwell us, is rendered dead (Romans 6:6, Galatians 5:24, Romans 7:8) so that it no longer has any say over our behaviour (Romans 6:14). So we don't have to commit sin...

It seems to me that OSAS doctrine gives a man permission to commit lasciviousness for in doing so he will still be saved according to that doctrine.

What does he deny about 1 John 1:8, Accuser?

Now the Lord is not afraid of dissenting opinions; and if there is anything being preached by anyone that is not biblical, those who are called to preach the Bible on these boards will be able to show biblically why the doctrine being preached is unbiblical. Therefore I am very glad of the...

I've Blashphemed the Holy Spirit. What now?

If you are saved by grace, you are no longer a sinner (1 John 3:9; 1 John 3:6, 1 John 2:17); in the sense of one who commits sin. You are still a sinner (1 Timothy 1:15, 1 John 1:8) in that the element of sin still indwells your mortal body.

I don't claim that I myself have been perfect in the way of "not sinning" since I became born again... But I do know that I have been able to go for extended periods of time without sinning (and I also have been open to the Holy Spirit being the light that pinpoints sin when it arises). And...

I love you, too. And you are definitely wrong in your estimation that I am a phony. My testimony is very true and from my heart. My testimony (justbyfaith).

That's right...I don't think that Jesus dies for my sins....I know that He did. Jesus and the apostles faced worse insults than what you are leveling at me right now....but I consider myself to be in good company in that they are being leveled against me.

The Holy Spirit is "the Spirit of Christ". Check your Bible.

May the Lord abundantly bless you and receive you as a son. I am not faking anything and I do not "know" that I am some kind of hypocrite... As a matter of fact, I have had a good conscience before God up to this day. (which is not to say that I haven't sinned; but that I know that all of my...
