    Dead in Sin !

What this post has not dealt with are the primary verses that speak of the doctrine of entire sanctification... 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 (kjv), Hebrews 10:14 (kjv), 1 John 3:9; Jude 1:24, 2 Peter 1:10, 1 John 2:10; 1 John 3:7, 1 John 3:3, 1 John 2:6; and 1 John 3:6, 1 John 2:17, and...

If Baptism could save then there is no need for the shed Blood of Jesus.

Elaborate. What did it mean back then as opposed to what it means today?

    Kenosis False Teaching

Hallelujah! Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive blessing and wisdom and glory and honour and riches and power and strength...

    Not faith alone?

@Blood Bought 1953, So, are you saying that we have to sin because sin is defined by what is in the heart rather than what is on the outside? All this teaching about Jesus cleansing the inside of the cup and platter...however I don't think that you really believe that He is able to do that...

If Baptism could save then there is no need for the shed Blood of Jesus.

Be baptized because you have died to self; and when you come up out of the water you will have been buried and raised to walk in newness of life.

    The Trinity definition

That the doctrine of the Trinity appears to be foolishness to you is right in line with my apparent non-sequitur wherein I reference to you 1 Corinthians 1:18-29 in order to tell you, in a way that follows logically, that the truth may indeed appear to be foolishness to those who are perishing...

    Kenosis False Teaching

Amen. One Spirit (Ephesians 4:4); the Father (John 4:23-24) the Son (Ephesians 3:17, Colossians 1:27, 1 John 5:12); and the Holy Ghost (2 Corinthians 3:17) One Lord (Ephesians 4:5); the Father (Matthew 11:25, Luke 10:21), the Son (1 Corinthians 8:6, 1 Corinthians 12:3), and the Holy Ghost (2...

    Dead in Sin !

I believe that the kjv is the unadulterated word of God...you can take a broader path, taken by many, if you wish, in the belief that it is not inspired and inerrant. I do believe also that many of the modern translations do water down the message of God's word...and that the people who...

OSAS anyone? Opinions on Once Saved Always Saved

It is simply a mathematical truth that 100% x 100% = 100%. I think that scripture may be silent on the subject of mathematics.

    Kenosis False Teaching

    No; it follows logically.

    Kenosis False Teaching

Personally, I believe that creeds are useful; having been ironed out by debate over the meaning of doctrine in holy scripture. But of course, if or when holy scripture denies what is written in the creeds, holy scripture is the final authority to me also.

    Kenosis False Teaching

And that is a problem that you run across when you don't believe that Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are absolutely one in Spirit, Lordship, and Godhood (1 Corinthians 12:4-6, Ephesians 4:4-6).

    Not faith alone?

Mark 16:16....unless an infant can believe on the Lord Jesus Christ having heard the gospel and believed in its major tenets adequately enough to produce saving faith. Rom 10:13, For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Rom 10:14, How then shall they call on him in...

    Dead in Sin !

I believe that I can answer for @CharismaticLady as I believe she would have a similar answer to what I will give to you (if I am wrong she can most certainly speak up). Yes, the law is a schoolmaster to lead men to Christ (Galatians 3:24); showing them that they are sinners in need of a...

    Not faith alone?

And therefore only believer's baptism will save; infant baptism won't cut it!

    Dead in Sin !

Oh well, your point is lost on me...if you wanted to convince me of something you have failed to do so. I don't backtrack when it comes to posts on message boards; because of Philippians 3:13....the Lord spoke it to me as concerning that a while ago.

If Baptism could save then there is no need for the shed Blood of Jesus.

Why not in this time? The word of the Lord isn't timeless?
