    Not faith alone?

I did mess up and watched a movie recently that was less than sanctified...but only because I have always been a fan of Marvel Comics. I did not even realize that I had sinned until after I had watched the movie. The Holy Spirit pinpointed it to my attention and I confessed it before communion...

    Not faith alone?

Right...He died to save us from our sins (Matthew 1:21)...not just their penalty...the sins themselves...

Is the messiah the father himself in flesh?

Gen 3:14, And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: Gen 3:15, And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and...

    Not faith alone?

You need to stop talking about what is in men's "panties", Chester... If you won't admit that you've sinned concerning sins that you've committed, you won't be forgiven and cleansed (1 John 1:7-9). Psa 10:13, Wherefore doth the wicked contemn God? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not...

Does ALL sins include "Past, Present and Future" sins?

If we hear the words of Jesus and have a genuine faith in the Father who sent Him, we will in fact endure to the end...the scripture is clear that we shall not come into condemnation but have passed from death unto everlasting life (John 5:24 (kjv)).

    FORGIVEN OR NOT ?

1 John is written to the New Testament church in order to deal with the gnostic heresy that was threatening the church in the late 1st and early 2nd centuries.

    Not faith alone?

In what sense is it hypocrisy? If the Lord has brought me to repentance concerning my former besetting sins, and I commit them no more, how is it hypocrisy to proclaim that He has done this in my life? And how am I shifting blame to anyone else? What am I not taking responsibility for? Sins...

The False Doctrine with key word "COVER"

Concerning @Blood Bought 1953's flippancy concerning the judgment of God, in his doctrine, and in some of his posts, consider:. Psa 10:13, Wherefore doth the wicked contemn God? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require it.

    Not faith alone?

The Lord gave me three passages for my restoration.... 1) Ezekiel 33:11-20....which creates in me the fear of the LORD so that I will not return to a lifestyle of sinning. 2) Numbers 20...which shows that, Moses, who blundered in that passage, was not allowed to enter the promised land as the...

Is the messiah the father himself in flesh?

Luk 1:43, And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? That Mary was the mother of Jesus would indicate that He was born of her egg + her seed (the seed of the woman, Genesis 3:15).

Mans Inability to come to Christ

He is alive so that he can receive food from the mother's umbilical cord; but he is not born again into the kingdom of God so that he can begin to feed himself and live the Christian life.

    Not faith alone?

Martin Luther once said something to the effect of, "It is only human nature to watch a bird flying overhead; but if you let it come and make a nest in your hair, that is sin." A person who comes to Jesus is justified through faith in His shed blood; and this blood will have the effect of...

    The Parables of Jesus

Sorry, not taking any chances at believing you...the consequences would be too great if you happen to be wrong.

    Not faith alone?

No, but being saved will keep the fruits of the Spirit. Calling someone an "idiot" is the same as saying "Raca" and will put you in danger of the council. Not as severe as saying, "You fool." Notice that you are only in danger of hell fire...it's not saying that you will necessarily go...

    Not faith alone?

What part of Luke 13:1-5 says that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day according to the scriptures? Now, while I certainly believe in what it says in Luke 13:1-5, I do not believe that the fact that it excludes that doctrine means that it is not a biblical...

    The Parables of Jesus

It is in fact a prophecy in its entirety. Prophecy is not only fore-telling the future, it is forth-telling the message of the Lord.

    The Parables of Jesus

God the Holy Spirit inspired the Bible to be written. Since God is the author of an entire Book (the Holy Bible), He may very well be speaking of the Bible when He refers to "this book." I'm not taking any chances on this. If you want to, be my guest. You certainly have the right to believe...

I thought that I would bring this to the forefront...

...because it is one of my better posts. From Not faith alone? All of this is not to say that we ought to reject the sanctifying work of the Holy Ghost as He seeks to make us more like Christ, holy vessels, after we have been justified by the grace of God. Of course we are justified, not by...

    The Parables of Jesus

If you want to take that chance, be my guest. I'm not taking any chances on that either. There is a good possibility that Revelation 22:18-19 is speaking of the entire Bible. You want to gamble with your eternity, I suppose I should say, more power to you.

    Not faith alone?

All of this is not to say that we ought to reject the sanctifying work of the Holy Ghost as He seeks to make us more like Christ, holy vessels, after we have been justified by the grace of God. Of course we are justified, not by keeping the law perfectly, but through Christ's shed blood; which...
