If Baptism could save then there is no need for the shed Blood of Jesus.

Baptism in Jesus' Name (Acts of the Apostles 2:38-39, Romans 8:30)

No; it isn't. Otherwise, salvation wouldn't be accomplished through it. And most certainly, salvation can be accomplished through baptism (1 Peter 3:20-21, Acts of the Apostles 2:38-39, Romans 8:30).

None of my beliefs are erroneous (1 John 2:20 is written to me). Perhaps your beliefs that are contrary to mine are the erroneous ones. Why don't you correct me, using the kjv, concerning any of the things that I believe in? Why haven't you engaged me on any of the things that I have written...

The False Doctrine with key word "COVER"

The money is not the issue for me...as should be evidenced by the fact that I forgave you your debt for a moment. The issue is that you have sinned against me and have no remorse or apology whatsoever. I once forgave my dad for something that was very grievous; and when I told him that I...

If Baptism could save then there is no need for the shed Blood of Jesus.

It has kept me on the narrow path that leads to life (Matthew 7:13-14).

If Baptism could save then there is no need for the shed Blood of Jesus.

Baptism is not a work...because the remission of sins and the Holy Ghost (salvation) is promised as the result of baptism in Jesus' Name. And I agree that salvation is not of works. Nevertheless, God gives the Holy Spirit to those who obey Him (Acts of the Apostles 5:32).

How Powerful is the Blood of Jesus?

Some actually do that in the way of ministry; while others, who have the same gifts, choose to only exercise their gifts in a church setting in order that the Lord may get the glory for what occurs.

    DIFFERENT MINISTRIES

I was thinking recently on this subject... And I was thinking that circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing according to scripture (1 Corinthians 7:18-19). Therefore, when we see that Paul has his ministry to the uncircumcision, and Peter to the circumcision (Galatians 2:7), there...

    The Creator's Remorse

God does not directly do what is evil, impaho.

    Not faith alone?

It is a valid point that if we are given a talent to go and trade with, and then hide it in the sand, we will be counted as a lazy and slothful servant and may even be cast into outer darkness. But I like your point also. It proves the point of Ephesians 2:8-9 quite nicely.

    Not faith alone?

That is Calvinistic philosophy. The reality is that we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand... We do not enter into grace first. Not even the Pope? Or, a Cardinal? Or, a Catholic Priest?

If Baptism could save then there is no need for the shed Blood of Jesus.

Actually, that verse says, "For by grace are ye saved (?) through faith..."

If Baptism could save then there is no need for the shed Blood of Jesus.

It is not in any sense working FOR salvation to receive baptism in Jesus' Name.

entire sanctification is an obtainable goal.

It is gnostic teaching to say that when my flesh sins, it is not the real me that is sinning; and that therefore I can do whatever I want in the flesh and I am sin-free. The reality is that when my flesh sins, all of me sins... It is for everyone (2 Timothy 3:16). You are simply playing a...

The False Doctrine with key word "COVER"

So you chose to judge me rather than be obedient... You have just made yourself an example of the following scripture: Jas 4:11, Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou...

The False Doctrine with key word "COVER"

It is obvious to me that I am dealing with a hardened heart here... Pro 17:11, An evil man seeketh only rebellion: therefore a cruel messenger shall be sent against him.

The False Doctrine with key word "COVER"

I wrote a song a while ago...the words go like this: Lord Jesus, I ask You further into my heart... Come Holy Spirit, I pray, and make me more like You (x2) o-o-oh Grant me the victory in every battle Lord have the victory in every battle Lord Jesus, I ask You in my heart Lord Jesus, I ask...

How Powerful is the Blood of Jesus?

It is not self-effort that maintains my holiness but a resolve in the faith of the Holy Spirit not to sin (see also 1 John 5:18). I am no longer "white-knuckling" it. I simply am not being tempted because I have already made up my mind that I will not give in to temptation if or when it comes...
