If Baptism could save then there is no need for the shed Blood of Jesus.

The actual application of water has salvational value. Eze 36:25, Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. Eze 36:26, A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I...

The Eternal Security Heresy: A Comprehensive Refutation of OSAS

You must confess that Jesus is "the" Lord (1 Corinthians 12:3 (kjv)). There is one Lord (Ephesians 4:5, Mark 12:29), and that Lord is the Father (Matthew 11:25, Luke 10:21). It is in this context that you must confess that Jesus is the Lord if you are going to prove that you have the Holy Ghost.

The False Doctrine with key word "COVER"

There are specific works that the Lord has foreordained that we should walk in (Ephesians 2:10)...sins of omission are when such a work is before us and we fail to do it. But if we have the Holy Spirit and are in tune with the Spirit...and such a work is set before us...we will not fail to do...

How to be saved (born again) and join the family of God!

Indeed... Mat 7:7, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: Mat 7:8, For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Mat 7:9, Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask...

How to be saved (born again) and join the family of God!

That is common knowledge. So what is it, do you think, that justifies a man?

If Baptism could save then there is no need for the shed Blood of Jesus.

@Yan, Jesus did not use Beelzebub to cast out demons; He was accused of doing that by the Pharisees as a disparagement on His ministry. And Jesus responded by saying that they were in danger of committing the unpardonable sin. He actually cast out demons by the Spirit of God.

The Eternal Security Heresy: A Comprehensive Refutation of OSAS

See Ezekiel 33:12-20. If you will read this passage and look, not at the actual words but at their meaning (i.e. what the passage teaches us), I believe that you will see that the passage in question teaches us that we are to repent of sins...that we are not to commit sins any more after we...

    Mary, Queen of Heaven

You have yet to show this scripturally if it is the case.. Except that your statement is objectively false. That the revelation of the truth came to us 500 yrs ago and not from the beginning in no way defines the new revelation as a falsehood. As it is written, Hab 2:1, I will stand upon...

    Mary, Queen of Heaven

But it doesn't; because in context (Mark 6:2-4), Jesus speaks of his own kin. Try to read the holy scriptures objectively.

The Eternal Security Heresy: A Comprehensive Refutation of OSAS

Jhn 5:24, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. His Lord and Saviour is the Jesus presented to us in the Holy Bible. Which Jesus is your Lord...

    The devil's lie about politics.

1Co 2:13, Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. Since all scripture is inspired by the Holy Ghost (2 Timothy 3:16), I don't think that a difference in author or book is going to...

If Baptism could save then there is no need for the shed Blood of Jesus.

Water baptism is an initiation into the faith of Jesus Christ and we appropriate the blood of Jesus through it. Just compare Acts of the Apostles 22:16 and Hebrews 9:22; and you will see that the blood of Jesus is applied at baptism.

    Mary, Queen of Heaven

Yet there is a distinct possibility that the word adelphos in Mark 6:2-4 means "brother" and that when it says "sisters" in the same passage, it means "sisters". Does your Catholic Bible translate these things as "cousins"? Please answer this question. How does it make the distinction between...

    Mary, Queen of Heaven

See Matthew 1:25. And see Ezra 4:21 for an understanding of the word "until".

I have already done so. (posts #1-#6 of the following thread): True Trinity.

How to be saved (born again) and join the family of God!

receiving baptism in Jesus' Name will seal the deal so that you can know that you "shall be saved" (Mark 16:16). As opposed to merely believing where you have a more iffy prospect...you "should not perish" (John 3:16). Of course, the absolute and less iffy prospect is also offered if you will...

How to be saved (born again) and join the family of God!

According to the scripture in question, salvation is yet future to the one who calls on the name of the Lord.
