How to be saved (born again) and join the family of God!

The successors of the apostles are those who would believe in Jesus through their words...John 17:20...not necessarily those who would be designated authority by man.

To @DNB concerning the Deity of Christ...

The following, in the 1st 6 posts, shows forth a monotheistic view of the Trinity. True Trinity.

The Eternal Security Heresy: A Comprehensive Refutation of OSAS

It is still not to say that we are saved by the works that we do. We are saved solo gracia and sola fide... Being saved, we are regenerated and renewed on the inside so that we become inclined towards doing good works... But the works don't regenerates and renew us...that is accomplished only...

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

You apparently believe that the Lord isn't sovereign, Omnipotent, and loving; so that He would preserve His unadulterated message for the people.

My theory about the "Word" in John 1:1

Children are to be killed for their own sin. You are not going to shame me out of understanding that there is a reconciliation for these apparent contradictions. That's my position too.

My theory about the "Word" in John 1:1

Actually the Lord didn't violate the law in that instance. The law required that there be two or three witnesses in order for a stoning to take place. By the time Jesus was done with them, there were no witnesses left. See Romans 5:9, Hebrews 13:12, Hebrews 10:29, 1 John 1:7. The Sermon on...

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

I will never forget the day that I walked into a Seventh Day Adventist church and after the service, the parishioners tried to sell me on the idea that they had fellowship over the concept of the sabbath day. It seemed so shallow. Much more believable if you show forth the basis for real...

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

Rom 14:1, Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. Rom 14:2, For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs. Rom 14:3, Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth...

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

Let every man be fully convinced in his own mind...the teaching of Romans 14 is that if you hold to a sabbath (Saturday) view of rest, adhere to it. But if you hold to the idea that every day is alike, God is able also to make you stand.

The False Doctrine with key word "COVER"

What I think you are failing to see is that the blood of Jesus does not only justify, as per Romans 5:9...it also sanctifies (Hebrews 13:12, Hebrews 10:29) and cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7). So there is a practical holiness that will be wrought in the person who is redeemed through the...

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

I don't know how you can say that; for it is clearly the teaching of holy scripture (Romans 9:30-10:4).

My theory about the "Word" in John 1:1

Psa 58:3, The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies. He says that until heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law. That is because we can be forgiven for committing sins through the blood of Jesus...

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

So then, it is not a legalistic requirement is what you are saying. We are not required to rest on Saturday but can spend that time with God any day of the week. Not scriptural (Romans 6:14, Romans 7:4, Galatians 2:19, Romans 7:6, Ephesians 2:15-16, Colossians 2:14, Hebrews 7:18-19).

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

Let's look at where we find the doctrine that Jesus is the law and glean from that scripture: Rom 9:30, What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith. Rom 9:31, But Israel, which...

To @DNB concerning the Deity of Christ...

I know that the crucifixion (the atonement) is not foolish in all reality; however those who were not being saved considered it to be foolish; Just as the doctrine of the Trinity is not foolish in reality; but those who are not being saved consider it to be foolish. If you feel exasperated, I...

    THE KINGDOM WITHIN YOU

However, this scripture was in fact written down and applies to all who might apprehend the promise (2 Peter 1:3-4, Hebrews 11:33, 2 Corinthians 1:20, Romans 4:20-22). So, it can be said that the kingdom of God is within those who are born again in that we (who are born again) are all submitted...

To @DNB concerning the Deity of Christ...

Call it a non-sequitur if you wish; those who are looking on will see that the following scripture follows logically from your statement that the doctrine of the Trinity is "absurd"; as an argument that your estimation doesn't make the doctrine untrue. 1Co 1:18, For the message of the cross is...
