I'm saying that we are to expose heresy by preaching the truth that is contrary to the heretical pov, from the word of the Lord.

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

Labouring means we don't have the Spirit? What then, of this?... 1Th 1:3, Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father; 1Co 15:10, But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace...

The way to expose error is to preach the truth on the matter (not to point the finger at the false doctrine and call the bearer of it a heretic). People who are trained to discern counterfeit money, are trained to do so by handling real money all day long.

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

when I will be receiving reward for good deeds done; since I am saved by grace through faith.

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

It is common sense to understand that when we get to heaven, we will not any longer be labouring to enter into His rest. Try Hebrews 4:10-11.

It would indicate that where they perceive a speck in their brother's eye, there is very likely a beam in their own.

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

I stand corrected. But I will say that it is talking about heaven also.

It does not necessarily falsify their teaching; however, it does bring it into suspect so that it ought to be subjected to closer scrutiny.

    FACAGA?

Titus 3:5 speaks of the fact that we are saved "not by works of righteousness which we have done". As for the rest, we receive the Holy Spirit by faith alone (Galatians 3:14); and the love of the Lord comes in because of that faith (Romans 5:5). Jesus is the Father (Isaiah 9:6). A man can...

    Jesus isn't Catholic

Hi @Marymog, Here is where I am coming from. If the Catholic Church transubstantiates the bread and wine into the body and blood of Jesus; and the partaking of it means eternal life; then I become dependent on the Catholic Church to have eternal life. However, the Catholic Church teaches...

John MacArthur says you have nothing to do with being "born again"

Does the fact that not all are granted to come to Jesus necessarily mean that all are not drawn to Jesus? They would have the opportunity after passing into the next life if they would have no opportunity in this one. Romans 5:2, for one thing. For we place our faith in Jesus as an act of...

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

What verses is that? What verse is that? Paul the apostle said that his testimony B.C. was that according to the righteousness which is in the law, he was blameless. Sorry, I must have missed it. Could you quote the verse in question? Really quote it, out of the kjv? It doesn't say that...

    Are you a chosen one?

I would only refer you to 2 Timothy 2:15 and Acts of the Apostles 17:10-11.

John MacArthur says you have nothing to do with being "born again"

What verse? Where does it say anywhere in the Bible that God will not give every man an opportunity to receive Christ? No, I am not teaching that all men will be saved; but that all men can be saved. For those who are drawn to Jesus are not necessarily given to Jesus. It means what I said...

John MacArthur says you have nothing to do with being "born again"

Here is my take on Calvinistic philosophy. Love never fails (1 Corinthians 13:8) and the Lord God is Omnipotent (Revelation 19:6)... Therefore Irresistible Grace must be the reality. That being the case, there are only two options: 1) Limited Atonement 2) Universalism Limited Atonement is...

Who is the One that is Coming ?

God both went forward to become the Son and also stayed behind in eternity as the Person titled "Father". If someone dwells in eternity (Isaiah 57:15), they cannot cease to dwell in eternity, they are there eternally. Yet, the Father descended to incarnate as the Son of man (Isaiah 9:6)...
