  1. Armour of God

In response to a question I was asked. Who created OSAS.

No I disagree with you. I said faith and deeds go hand in hand. I am not in disagreement with scripture. Do you disagree with James? In James 2:26 he says "Faith without deeds is dead" Do you disagree with Paul? In 2 Corinthians 5:10 he says "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of...

    Is gambling a sin?

It can be addictive and destroy people's lives. The same can be said with alcohol. But in moderation is find no scripture that tells us it's sinful

Sinful during dreams is sin ???

    That's a good point
  4. Armour of God

In response to a question I was asked. Who created OSAS.

I disagree. Faith and good deeds go hand in hand. As James said, faith without deeds is dead. And if we are to be judged, lile you agreed, then better to have good deeds than bad deeds and also to repent for our sins as Jesus taught us to do. You seem to be claiming that you never sin, not...

Sinful during dreams is sin ???

Post #15 I said "Jesus also said something like, if you look at a woman with lust on your mind then you are committing adultery in your heart. But I can't control my initial thoughts, they just spring into my mind, I see a beautiful woman and lust immediately fills my mind. I don't think that...
  6. Armour of God

In response to a question I was asked. Who created OSAS.

If one has good faith but lives a life of bad deeds and unrepentant sin, will he be saved? Clue. All will be judged according to their deeds both good and bad It's better to have good deeds than bad deeds. And considering we will be judged, salvation has not happened yet to anyone on earth, it...

  10. Armour of God

Sinful during dreams is sin ???

Ok so we both agree about willful sinning and repentance. It's this phrase "Sin has already been dealt with at the cross" that I don't quite understand. Can you please elaborate on what you mean by that? @MatthewG

  12. Armour of God

Sinful during dreams is sin ???

Yea sure I have, quite often. I think everyone has had a lucid dream before Jesus also said something like, if you look at a woman with lust on your mind then you are committing adultery in your heart. But I can't control my initial thoughts, they just spring into my mind, I see a beautiful...
  13. Armour of God

Sinful during dreams is sin ???

Sometimes. It's known as a lucid dream. Have you ever had a dream that you were dreaming? It's known as a false awakening and it surely is something unusual
  14. Armour of God

Sinful during dreams is sin ???

So you agree that we can't willfully sin and be saved. There is also repentance. God forgives our sins if we truly repent, right?
  15. Armour of God

Sinful during dreams is sin ???

Then do you think we can live a life of deliberate sin and still be saved?
  16. Armour of God

Sinful during dreams is sin ???

I disagree with that. I can't control my dreams. Do you think thoughts can be sinful?

  18. Armour of God

Sinful during dreams is sin ???

I have dreams where I'm sinning but surely that's not a sin, I'm sleeping, unconscious, not in control of my thoughts or the actions in my dream. Do you think it's a sin to have sinful dreams?
  19. Armour of God

In response to a question I was asked. Who created OSAS.

Yea that makes sense. Christ brought the beginning of salvation. The end of salvation is still to come. Thanks for your explanation, it has given me a better understanding of it. May Gods peace and grace be with you
  20. Armour of God

In response to a question I was asked. Who created OSAS.

There are verses that are written like that, in the past tense, that's probably why people say "I'm saved". Someone gave a good explanation that has made me understand it better. Christ brought the beggining of the process of salvation. The end of that process is still to come God bless
