Death Penalty: All in Favor? All Opposed?

Hello All My post is anecdotal; y’all decide if it contributes or not to this thread. In the mid Seventies, while in my mid twenties, I worked as a correction officer in New York. It was in a maximum security prison. The “Maxie” I worked in was Greenhaven. Among its infamous alumni over the...

Hello All If you will, consider the following:

    Being attacked.

IMHO, when involved in the occult, as one poster said, renounce all of it in Jesus’ name. Moreover, find a church that is bible based and has a pastor that believes in ’scriptural‘ deliverance. Further, when you get attacked again, start praising the Lord, through singing and declaration, until...

    Spiritual Gifts?

    Wrong again. I’m done. Cheers.

    Spiritual Gifts?

“Since you (I), are quoting Paul…” First off, I’m quoting the Word, which became Flesh. Browsing and posting as a new member I’ve been challenged, and also read many posts where posters choose to divide the HUMAN scribes of The Word into different factions, hence, different gospels. I intend to...

    Spiritual Gifts?

As I said in my post, the Gifts of the Spirit, (1 Corinthians 12), are given as the Spirit wills. Therefore, if He chooses, I would be able to speak in aborigine. Incidentally, tongues, interpretation of tongues, and prophecy would be used mainly in a church or other public gathering for the...

Moreover, the Word of Knowledge, Discerning of Spirits, and regular Christian discernment would unlock the truth. I wasn’t aware of the Nicolaitans. I’ll check them out.

How many former Catholics are here?

Hi I left the Catholic Church as a teenager. Watching the empty ritual, taking part in incessant rote memorization, observing all the hypocrisy; l was done. Since then I delved deeper into some of their doctrine, and was glad I had left at an early age. In any event, I eventually developed a...

    Spiritual Gifts?

Hello dmdar While I was reading your post the other day a red flag went up. I didn’t want to mention it at the time, being a newbie, however, I decided to now. I seriously question the “Christian gift“ of aura reading described by you, vis a vis a couple of your acquaintances. The following...

    Spiritual Gifts?

If I may? Would you please demonstrate, ASAP, your gift of invisibility? Thank you.

    Spiritual Gifts?

First off, I agree with much of the above, with some nuances, a few semantic differences, and maybe, a couple of differences. 1 Corinthians 13:12a - “For now we see through a glass, darkly.” If I may, I will start with the above scripture? Why? I’m sure not all of my Full Gospel/Spirit...

    Avoiding the Media

I have read that Smith Wigglesworth, upon waking up in the morning would not let his feet touch the floor without taking communion first.

Think someone might have put a curse on me.

That’s where I saw him mostly, in the inner city; the Bronx and Manhattan (Harlem). Btw, all in the mid to late 80’s.

Think someone might have put a curse on me.

An off topic aside, if I may? I’ve been a member of this site for only a couple of days, and am thrilled to see a link to the last of the Big Tent preachers, Brother Schambach. When I lived in NYC years back I saw RWS under the Big Tent 4 or 5 times. The experience was phenomenal.

    Hello All

Thanks for the welcome and heads up Brother. I plan on checking out hyper-dispensationalism, albeit, I think I get it. At any rate, I’ve been “mainly“ a Dispensationalist for over 40 years. However, I also ascribe to some Reformed theology, and am definitely open. I look forward to browsing...

    Hello All

I’m sorry, I wasn’t aware that you’re the impromptu test giver. Are my answers evaluated by you personally, or do you give it to your committee first? I find it amusing that you, being a new member as myself are so quick to challenge, especially on the Community Welcome Thread. I expected to...
