A Biblical Lesson on Spiritual Discernment

This does not address what I said at all. When the disciples asked "When shall these things be"? what exactly do you think they were asking with that question? And what do you believe spawned that question?

    Actually Jesus returns twice...

That's a good point. At the same time, why does it matter when they were opened, right? What matters is when the events related to each seal actually occurred or will occur.

    Actually Jesus returns twice...

He equates the "trib" only with God's wrath, while everyone else understands it as relating to a time of severe deception, wickedness, and apostasy as well as increased persecution of believers. So, he causes confusion by defining terms differently than everyone else.

    Using the term "rapture" incorrectly

No one can argue that because Jesus said this... John 3:13 No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven. Jesus would not have said this if Enoch and Elijah had entered heaven. Jesus was talking about the third heaven/paradise there...

    Using the term "rapture" incorrectly

Pre-tribs believe that passage you quoted refers to what will happen when the supposed pre-trib rapture occurs. So, they see that passage and 1 Thessalonians 4:14-17 as occurring at the same time. But, then the question becomes...when do the so-called "trib saints" who get saved during the...

A Biblical Lesson on Spiritual Discernment

Right. Jesus said those in Judea would need to flee to the mountains. He wasn't talking about the disciples needing to flee.

A Biblical Lesson on Spiritual Discernment

Not sure what your point is here. There certainly were Christians in Judea around 70 AD and they fled to the mountains to avoid being killed, just as Jesus warned them to do. How do you interpret this passage... Matthew 22:2 “The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who arranged a marriage...

A Biblical Lesson on Spiritual Discernment

It isn't, of course. Unless you just spiritualize the whole thing for no good reason. It happened exactly as Jesus prophesied in 70 AD. We should be celebrating the pinpoint accuracy of His prophecy, but instead some people claim it has not yet been fulfilled.

A Biblical Lesson on Spiritual Discernment

Why do you think that? The disciples asked Him when the temple buildings would be destroyed, so why do you think He would not have answered that question? Matthew 24:1 Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came up to show Him the buildings of the temple. 2 And...

That's all he can do. He knows he has nothing to refute our arguments.

Both Pretribbers and Preterists are clearly wrong that great tribulation begins with the DOTL.

I'm sorry, but I can't understand what you're trying to say here. You can try to clarify it if you want or we can just move on from this.

Both Pretribbers and Preterists are clearly wrong that great tribulation begins with the DOTL.

So, why did you tell me before that interpreting the vials in parallel with each trumpet and seal is "absurd" not long ago as you did here... Who is Paul discussing in 2 Thessalonians 2? It seemed like you cared about this then and even thought it was "absurd" to think that way. But, now...

A Biblical Lesson on Spiritual Discernment

I'm not sure if he believes any prophecy is fully fulfilled yet. This is terrible and dangerous hermeneutics to resort to this idea that every physical fulfillment of prophecy also requires a spiritual fulfillment. Where does this end? Like you said, you can make the Bible say what you want it...

A Biblical Lesson on Spiritual Discernment

LOL! Yes, let's just decide for ourselves when the prophecy has been fully fulfilled instead of accepting what the prophecy was clearly all about. Thanks again for revealing how little spiritual discernment you have. This is the most ironic thread that anyone has ever created on this forum...

A Biblical Lesson on Spiritual Discernment

He clearly was, but we'll see how he answers the question. In case Jesus's reference to "all these things" isn't clear to Him, the following makes it clear as to what Jesus was talking about... Mark 13:1 Then as He went out of the temple, one of His disciples said to Him, “Teacher, see what...

    Actually Jesus returns twice...

What about your own constant display of arrogance and ignorance? Saying that amills are just going by what we're told? That's arrogance and ignorance. I study the scriptures for myself like the Bereans (Acts 17:10-11). How about taking the log out of your own eye? Of course I am. There's...

A Biblical Lesson on Spiritual Discernment

No one denies the reality of Jesus being the temple in that passage, but this has no relation whatsoever to the Olivet Discourse.

A Biblical Lesson on Spiritual Discernment

LOL! Yes, things happened in Jerusalem in 70 AD just as Jesus prophesied, but that was just a coincidence, right? What is there to demonstrate? Why do you make simple things convoluted? Jesus said that Jerusalem would be surrounded and that the people in the city would be killed and that the...
  19. Spiritual Israelite

Both Pretribbers and Preterists are clearly wrong that great tribulation begins with the DOTL.

Of course. Did I ever say otherwise? No. And I would say the same thing. Revelation 19 refers to Christ's second coming and Revelation 20 refers to His reign and to His followers being His priests. He started reigning after His resurrection (Matthew 28:18, Ephesians 1:19-22) and He hasn't come...

    Actually Jesus returns twice...

You don't have a clue. You are completely ignorant. Tell me how you can reconcile the following passages with your view... 2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent...
