    LEAVEN

Jesus mentioned the leaven of the Pharisees. Unfortunately I believe it's all throughout churches today. There are many obsessed with fancy titles, long prayers for self-glory, and only a pretense at charity.

    Home as Ministry

The Lord didn't give me weaknesses in homemaking to hinder me. He set me up in weakness so I might depend on Him and He get the glory.

    Consider these prayers please

Yes. I believe you can consider someone an enemy and still love them. Love is giving someone food when they're hungry. We can do that with anyone. Yes.

    Home as Ministry

Sometimes I struggle with fear and anxiety because I was not raised to be a homemaker and have had to work hard to overcome the challenges of that. However, I want to have more of a Spirit led lilies of the field mindset when it comes to this. I want to pray rather than worry, casting my...

Which major Christian church in the U.S. is closest to the truth?

My husband and I looked into a lot of churches. The closest to the truth is definitely Greek Orthodox by a large margin. But if that weren't a thing, I'd point to Pentecostalism. Currently we don't have a denomination but that doesn't mean we never tried.

Men Returning To Traditional Roles. Feminists Horrified

I think feminists know that if men start desiring traditional femininity, many women will adjust their behaviour. That's why they are freaking out.

    ScottA: Heretic, or No?

Don't leave. I know Im the biggest hypocrite ever (I was gone for months) but your posts add interest and are not full of this hostile arrogant attitude I see sometimes.

    Do you hunger and thirst?

Let us always be on fire for God. Let's not let the cares of this world choke the hope of the gospel in us. Father, help me have a fire that remains.

    Carnivore Diet & Lifestyle

Got in a workout today this evening. My first meal was steak and pork belly strips with pork cracklins and a Jerky stick. Dinner was steak, boiled eggs, and sliced pepperoni. My husband and our roommate got egg carnivore muffin bites for lunch. Tomorrow they'll be getting burgers, bacon, and...

    Carnivore Diet & Lifestyle

It's early this round and my husband thinks my report is psychosomatic (in my head) but I already feel way more motivated and alive on day 3. In the first few days up to two weeks there will be bathroom issues but this is normal for the adjustment period. Anyone trying this diet needs to give...

    Carnivore Diet & Lifestyle

We started carnivore yesterday. Went shopping today and got a huge boneless ribeye rack. We sliced it up and froze most of it. We also organized the refrigerator before I got anything. Today I also made ketovore egg muffins. They turned out nice. I was really itching to go back on this diet. My...

    Virtue: Ambition

I've always been ambitious. As a child, it was with grades. But I had a rough transition into adulthood. I wanted to please my parents so I forced myself to go to college. Then I met my husband and became a homemaker. I use ambition now to overcome the fact that I wasn't raised to stay at...

Are we in a post moral relativist culture.

Jesus came to bring division. It makes sense that things are becoming more polarized as time goes on. I've seen articles about Gen Z turning to God in droves. I find that encouraging. Many are called. Few are chosen.
