In response to a question I was asked. Who created OSAS.

It is sad that people fight over an acronym, and not for what the acronym says (OSAS is a bad word, as apposed to the thought that once a person is saved (justified, born again, redeemed by the blood, adopted as children of God, based on recieving the forgiveness of sin, through the redemption...

Is it possible to lose salvation?

I think you are looking for problems. Your also putting the whole of the word of God in question. If paul contradicts God. then the bible cannot be trusted.

Is it possible to lose salvation?

The context of Gal 5 is loving your brother as apposed to bitting and devouring each other. so he dod not contradict Jesus. He used th epart that was relevent to what he was trying to say.

Many Say ‘Just BELIEVE’… But What Did JESUS Actually TEACH?

He does not chose anyone not to call. I did not save myself. God drew me, He brought me to my knees as the tax collector.. All I did was recieve him. It is the work of God I believed. God will hold us accountable for what we chose, to recieve God in faith. or to deny God in unbelief. He was...

Is it possible to lose salvation?

Amen, eph 2: 8 For it is by grace we have been saved 2 tim 1: 9 who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began, Titus 3: 5 not by works of righteousness...

Many Say ‘Just BELIEVE’… But What Did JESUS Actually TEACH?

take these in context. 37 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. 38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. 39 This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given...

In response to a question I was asked. Who created OSAS.

in conclusion; So in the end. The argument is not really about OSAS. It is about the promises of God. It is about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is about the fact we are All dead in trespasses and sins (the wage of sin is death Rom 6: 23) Unable to save ourselves (it is By Grace, not by works...
  14. Eternally Grateful

In response to a question I was asked. Who created OSAS.

Others made the same claim 1. It is a completed action. Not based on our works. But according to his purpose and grace which is in Christ. 2 tim 1: 9 who has saved us (a completed action) and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works , but according to his own purpose and grace...

In response to a question I was asked. Who created OSAS.

So who are the ones who are saved? John 3:18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. Some of your versions say not obey. What is it that they did not obey? They did not...
  16. Eternally Grateful

In response to a question I was asked. Who created OSAS.

when does this take place. Since we already looked at John 1 and how we are not born again, I will start there. We must receive his gift. By receiving him. How do we do this. By trusting him (unlike the Calvinist view, God will not force us to take his gift. We must receive it in faith.. or...

In response to a question I was asked. Who created OSAS.

the solution So what is the solution? Jesus gave us the issue, and the Solution in John 3. John 3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” For those who use the KJV. Jesus used the words Verily Verily...
  18. Eternally Grateful

In response to a question I was asked. Who created OSAS.

OSAS is an acronym that stands for the words Once Saved Always Saved. Another way to say it is OJAJ or once a person is justified they are always justified. In response to a question I was asked. Who created OSAS.

I wanted to share a thought. Yesterday as I was leaving. I was asked a question, Who created OSAS? My answer was God. Sadly I was in a hurry (I was already 5 minutes past the time I should have left) and did not give it more thought. But then on my way home. I was thinking. The word OSAS is not...
