Death Penalty: All in Favor? All Opposed?

I am not giving you my opinion, I am giving you the Law. If you want to contradict the Law, you need to address the connection with Wisdom - in this case. Saying "I don't like it" means nothing to a Judge.

Jesus destroyed the "sin", the Holy Spirit destroys the "guilt" - (God destroys the "disobedience"?)

Hi there, So just a simple progression: Jesus destroyed the "sin", but the Holy Spirit destroys the "guilt". In other words, Jesus makes our spirit free, but the Holy Spirit makes our spirit strong. We may not be ready to be obedient to God, but the Holy Spirit ensures that our strength is...

Death Penalty: All in Favor? All Opposed?

"Death is wise, in the eyes of the Law" (selah) In other words, though we don't want to be legalistic, the Law is still ultimately inevitable and if that means putting the flesh to death, to save the soul, then so be it.

Have an addiction to McDonald's? You are like me!

I think what the Lord has revealed to me, is that I was "dead in my appetite" - just as it says in Revelation that we can be dead (spiritually) and not realise it. Revelation advises that we should gather what good we have and commit to waiting for the Lord - that's what I will do!

Have an addiction to McDonald's? You are like me!

You are conflating the weight they have with the character they desire, despite that weight. Fat preachers aren't fat because they want to be, their bodies have just not caught up with the character - the new character - that Christ has given them, by His death on the Cross. You're not the judge...

The Shortest Way To The Truth

Sorry, you thought you were helping. Just a word: if your response to a quote is more quotes, it looks like you are not listening - not because the verses are "wrong", but because you are not revealing your personal interpretation on them. I forgive you; I hope you can forgive me. The point...

Have an addiction to McDonald's? You are like me!

I don't believe that God gives people the opportunity to be "fatter" "more addicted" "more unfit" in Heaven. Heaven is all about the good stuff, without the bad.

The Shortest Way To The Truth

Great, you've got a search function. What does that have to do with Jesus saying "the Kingdom is within you"? Like are you ignoring the one verse that has the most authority? You can make the path within longer all you want, but you risk losing "power"?

Have an addiction to McDonald's? You are like me!

Something that has helped has been trusting the Holy Spirit to do away with the guilt, of being addicted. The Devil's attack can get past your armour, if you think somehow its "your fault" that you are addicted!

The Shortest Way To The Truth

I'm telling you, the path God has given cannot be shorter! I gave you a verse "the kingdom of God is within you", if you don't want that I have nothing.

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

I think something to be noted here, is that even as "prey" those who are not Evolutionists have a choice. That choice is this: are they selecting items or are they binding against attrition. Prey that is selecting items - that is, that help it live - is at peace and does not need to be guarded...

The Shortest Way To The Truth

I know it because God gives it to me, and I know it because when God gives it to me, it is shorter than anything else He could give me. The topic is "the shortest way to the truth": I think God is wise, when He gives me that way.

The Shortest Way To The Truth

Luke 17:21 "Neither will they say 'look here' or 'look there', for the Kingdom of God is within you" Every path, no matter where it is, is longer than the path within.

    Hello, im a newbie here

I feel the Spirit would have me say "Your heart is strong, it will be a strength to others" Welcome to the board!

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

I think the thing is that adaptations are - before God - prepared for; command over adaptations, is exercised - in Jesus' direction (selah)!

Weird theology: different parts of your body, can be resurrected at different times - and wait for the body to be resurrected as a whole (at peace?)

Hi there, So this is just to establish that the "resurrection" is a process. You do not just "snap your fingers" and you are resurrected. Depending on how God has made you, different parts of your body will reach a state where they are alive again, in ways that vary depending on God. The point...

Jesus said "pray that you are able to escape and to stand before the Son of Man" *have you prayed?*

I think there is good reason to believe, that Jesus prayed for Himself that He escape and stand as Lord. If Jesus is at least speaking for Himself, as well as you: don't you think you ought to pray?

Are we saved by certainty, or by faith? - the mystery of salvation

Praise God for the mystery of our Salvation, right?

If the "internet" is not an example of increased knowledge, I don't know what is!

The Shortest Way To The Truth

The fastest way to truth, is the path within. (selah) Interesting topic!
