At what point does homosexuality become a sin?

Fleeing temptation is not "suppression." It is surrendering to the better Master. "Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?" Romans 6:16 NKJV

    Spiritual Gifts Anyone?

I accept that, but it has not been my experience. I cannot even do the two that I am accustomed to at-will, other than praying or praising in tongues.

Have I grieved/quenched the Holy Spirit

Believers are works-in-progress. We all grieve/quench the Holy Spirit from time-to-time. I am sure that we make Him face-palm, but if we have been Born Again, He is there to convict us to repent, pick us back up, dust us off & continue where we left off. Don't fail on purpose, but God is not...

I need to leave my golden handcuffs job. Any advice...

If you are not in a church, get into one that will help you stand against spiritual oppression (while you must be in it). I would recommend these, Vineyard, Assembly of God, Foursquare Church (Links above are locators.) If you cannot go on Sunday, see what they have for mid-week services...

At what point does homosexuality become a sin?

If sex was never part of the equation, then gay/homosexual does not apply to the situation. Why did she call herself gay if that was the case? And if the OP does not have any venereal inclinations whatsoever, then why is anyone suggesting that he is gay/homosexual? That is not what...

At what point does homosexuality become a sin?

Equating homosexual lust with a strong platonic love is a disservice to the OP, who was speaking of men generally. pla·ton·ic /pləˈtänik/ adjective (of love or friendship) intimate and affectionate but not sexual. "their relationship is purely platonic"

At what point does homosexuality become a sin?

Wrong. "Homosexual" means "sexually (attracted, "eros") to the same (gender as oneself)" < Gr. homos + Lat. sexualis. "Heterosexual" means "sexually (attracted) to the opposite (gender to oneself)" < Gr. heteros. "Philos" has the meaning that you are looking for.

At what point does homosexuality become a sin?

They are not. David & Jonathan being BFFs is cool. Homosexuality & homosexual lust as defined by Leviticus 20:13 will never be cool.

At what point does homosexuality become a sin?

No, that is a bromance. By definition, homosexuality is a perversion of eros, even when said lust is not acted upon. "If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them." Leviticus...

At what point does homosexuality become a sin?

They did not have "eros" with nor for each other.

At what point does homosexuality become a sin?

There is no "right" way to continue in homosexuality, just like there is no "right" way to continue in hetero-adultery.

At what point does homosexuality become a sin?

Since we are all born into Sin, that is really a chicken-or-egg question. Even if you never cross some imaginary line that you propose, you will still die in all the other sins that you have already committed unless you get Born Again. You don't need a specific law to rein you in. You need a new...

Hi! Are you answering messages through the "contact us" dialogue box?

He only appeared homosexual to the Father while He was on the Cross, on the homosexual's behalf. Likewise for the murderer. He bore our sins. He did not commit them. (That is the only way that He could bear them.) He is Pure & Holy to us, and nothing less. When He returns, those will be His...
