    Disciple or Follower?

One can follow anyone, but to be a follower of Jesus we must also be one of His disciples and apply what He is showing us to do otherwise, we are not His follower or disciple. Shalom

A Politician Can't Make America Great Again but this can

Home is not the main focus of the Bible. The main focus of the Bible is our wholesome relationship with God.

Is a woman required to cover her head today?

So, you are still a pup then?

Is a woman required to cover her head today?

I suppose that you ask the large mirror on the wall in your room when you look into it, "Who is the most dashing of men that you can see?"

    TWO ISRAELS Exist Today

A more accurate contextual paraphrasing of these three verses is: - Ezekiel 37:21-23: - 21 "Then say to them, 'Thus says the Lord God: "Surely I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, wherever they have gone, and will gather them from every side and bring them into their own...

    Crusades Began with Reconquista

The context in which the above "quote" is missing and as such, to form an opinion as to whether or not Charles Spurgeon's writings should be read or not, cannot be formed simply by considering this short quote without its context. Perhaps this extract helps with the context: Shalom

    Jacob/Israel

The PDF pages below may help you understand the mothers of Jacob's sons. Page 1 Page 2 Page 3 Genesis 29:15-20: - 15 Then Laban said to Jacob, “Because you are my kinsman, should you therefore serve me for nothing? Tell me, what shall your wages be?” 16 Now Laban had two daughters. The...

    Need Both Arms

It is in one table in a Excell worksheet that could only be printed on two formatted pages in a word document. If you chase through the Greek text, you will find that the "man" goes away into "a very large voluminous pit." The time span from John's Book of Revelation from when he goes way to...

    Israel "the promised land"

You are missing the metaphor's intent.

    Israel "the promised land"

But there is in the conveyed context of H:0127 being translated as "land."

    Israel "the promised land"

It seems that there is a translation problem with the Hebrew word H:0127 which has the meaning of "reddish soil." In the context of Amos 9:15 God will plant Israel in His fertile soil/field and no one will be able to take them from the fertile soil I have given them. Shalom

Like As a Father Pitieth His Children, So The Lord Pitieth Them That Fear Him.

A more modern translation of Psalm 103:13 is: - "Just as a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear Him."

    Need Both Arms

Perhaps this comparison of the two parables will help. Page 1 Page 2 The above comparison table of the two parables show just how similar the two parables are.

    Need Both Arms

What I should have also said was that: - Firstly, in the Luke account, some of the man of noble birth's servants sent a delegation after the man saying that they no longer wanted the man to rule over them. Luke 19:14 suggests that the some of the servants were Israelites, which give a clue as...

    Need Both Arms

Again, I repeat what I had previously posted. That is your conclusion, however, I had also looked at the Greek text used and came to the understanding that I did back over twenty years ago. In fact, what I have posted is what I was taught around 65 years ago and when I considered both...

    Israel "the promised land"

We should remember that all of the covenant promises of "land" given to the Patriarchs, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob had a clause embedded within them where the time frame of the possession of the promised land had an end point which was beyond the ability for the Israelites to comprehend. We tend...

    Jacob/Israel

This is true. King David was in the line of Judah and not from Ephraim's line of descendants. Yes, King David was a 10th generational descendant of Judah and his father's name was Jessie who lived in Bethlehem. I cannot make any sense of this statement. Oh well, since I am also often in...
