When Jesus "took away" your sin, did He leave behind the source, the sin nature?

I am going to quote a few verses for you and please tell me if they are true or if you believe as you've written here that they are false. This is about righteousness. 4 Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. 5 And you know that He was manifested to take away...

When Jesus "took away" your sin, did He leave behind the source, the sin nature?

Did you know that for the past 3,500 years God sees sin in two different categories? The worst, He takes away along with the nature of Satan that we inherited from Adam. But the lesser is taken away in degrees over a long time as in 2 Peter 1:5-7. The worst are called sins unto death because...

When Jesus "took away" your sin, did He leave behind the source, the sin nature?

I know and live the truth. And that is that Jesus does take away the old man/sin nature and resurrects a clean nature that may partake of the divine nature of God. When are you going to change too?

When Jesus "took away" your sin, did He leave behind the source, the sin nature?

We are living in the age of the falling away, right before the Antichrist comes on the scene. 2 Thes. 2:3-12. It is amazing to me that on a Christian website there are not more who love Jesus. Because those who actually love Jesus keep His commandments. And He has made it easy by taking away...

When Jesus "took away" your sin, did He leave behind the source, the sin nature?

He has been completely dealt with, Liz. Are you completely disregarding our Lord's death and 1 John 3:8-9

When Jesus "took away" your sin, did He leave behind the source, the sin nature?

Are you talking about the misinterpreted imputed righteousness? That the Spirit that dwells within you cannot stop you from sinning, that righteousness is just a covering and not something that Jesus has "taken away"? That is a doctrine of demons trying to weaken you. And in this day and age of...

When Jesus "took away" your sin, did He leave behind the source, the sin nature?

What I found is that is verifies verses 26-31. And in Romans 6 Paul asks why sin when you don't have to? In other words, why do something you no longer want to do as those under the Old Covenant who still had their inherited sin nature, BECAUSE when born again there is no more consciousness of...

When Jesus "took away" your sin, did He leave behind the source, the sin nature?

I'll answer this first part first. Read Revelation 22:11. There are two levels of purity and Jesus does them both in us while born again. The first is righteousness. That is sinlessness, but of what type of sin? The worst! Sins unto death. Not physical death like suicide, but the Old Testament...

When Jesus "took away" your sin, did He leave behind the source, the sin nature?

Do you really believe the OP was meant for you? It is meant for THE CHURCH because of the false doctrines in this day and age of the "falling away." Are you falling away too? Do you sin because you haven't died yet? Or do you no longer sin because Jesus has redeemed your spirit and soul?

When Jesus "took away" your sin, did He leave behind the source, the sin nature?

No, dear, you have a problem. A long-standing emotional problem which is why I included everyone to not point the finger. But you are doing a skillful job of uncovering that yourself. Now we all know who I meant, but tried to hide. Sin is not in the body. That is why it doesn't requiring being...

What about the words "never stumble" mean to you? cc: @Lizbeth

When Jesus "took away" your sin, did He leave behind the source, the sin nature?

We all know Jesus was sinless. I'm curious if you even know what sin is when you believe it is in our body? That makes us filthy until we die, not righteous/sinless or holy/perfect. We cannot still be sinning sins unto death when we die and still receive a new body.

When Jesus "took away" your sin, did He leave behind the source, the sin nature?

All have sinned because of inheriting the sin nature passed down from Adam. So Jesus was able to DIE for us because HE sinned according to you.

When Jesus "took away" your sin, did He leave behind the source, the sin nature?

It wasn't about you. Thanks for asking to clear that up. I had one person in mind actually who should know better. But I didn't want to accuse him publicly by singling him out. Surely, if you read it again more carefully, you will reason that out. How many people do you know that memorizes the...

When Jesus "took away" your sin, did He leave behind the source, the sin nature?

In John 8:32 Jesus said, "the truth shall set you free." Then He goes on in 34-36 “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. 35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. 36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free...

When Jesus "took away" your sin, did He leave behind the source, the sin nature?

Glad I have a thick skin, plus mature fruit. So, do you believe Jesus took away our inner sin nature or not? Answer, "yes" or "not." Our body is dying because of ADAM'S SIN not OUR still sinning.

When Jesus "took away" your sin, did He leave behind the source, the sin nature?

Paul made it clear in Romans 8:9-10 that in Romans 6, 5-7, the "old man"/sin nature that was crucified and resurrected NOW is not our body of flesh and bone that we see dying before our very eyes, but dwells within. "But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God...

When Jesus "took away" your sin, did He leave behind the source, the sin nature?

So, tell me. Which of the two types of sins do you commit? Willful lawless sins unto death against the Ten Commandments that no born again of the Spirit Christian can even commit according to 1 John 3:9, or just immature fruit of the Spirit you commit unintentionally until the Spirit checks...

When Jesus "took away" your sin, did He leave behind the source, the sin nature?

Read this. For the worshipers, once purified, would have had no more consciousness of sins.

If you read it again, I did not name anyone, but included everyone as to NOT do what you accuse me of. Again, you read what you want and believe what you want, whether it is true or false.
