Let's examine Revelation 20:4 yet again.

You make completely no sense and are proving my view that the bible doesn’t say that there are trillions of angels

Let's examine Revelation 20:4 yet again.

What’s that got to do with my question? I already said that sometimes stars are stars and sometimes angels but the context of the verse tells us when You said that I have an insistent unbelief in scripture and that’s insulting and not true and you haven’t proven that I do.

Let's examine Revelation 20:4 yet again.

First of all that’s not a verse in Genesis it’s in the book of Daniel Second how does that prove my insistence unbelief towards Scripture when it’s talking about literal stars not angels? It sates the brightness of the heavens meaning the star?

Let's examine Revelation 20:4 yet again.

Are you serious here? I have a insistent unbelief in scripture because I believe that God meant stars when He asked Abraham to go outside look up and count the stars?

  8. Marty fox

Let's examine Revelation 20:4 yet again.

Then why do you believe in a literal thousand years and dismiss a symbolic thousand years?
  9. Marty fox

Let's examine Revelation 20:4 yet again.

Then what is the context when God ask Abraham to go outside and look up at the stars?
  10. Marty fox

Let's examine Revelation 20:4 yet again.

Yes I take the bible as literal and symbolic at different times too but only according to the context
  11. Marty fox

Let's examine Revelation 20:4 yet again.

Yes at times when the text allows it but what is the context below what was the message God was giving to Abraham? Then the LORD brought Abram outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.” The...

Let's examine Revelation 20:4 yet again.

It says shine like stars not angels. Look at the context below Then the LORD brought Abram outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.” God was obviously taking about the actual stars here...

Let's examine Revelation 20:4 yet again.

But you didn't say "I think" (unless I missed it) but not in the post I am talking about. You also said this to me "This statement above is the one where I said you added your own words."
  15. Marty fox

Let's examine Revelation 20:4 yet again.

Okay thanks but you didn't say "you think" you said "there is". Since we know that there are most likely trillions of stars and planets this is obviously meaning stars and planets.
  16. Marty fox

Let's examine Revelation 20:4 yet again.

I was clarifying a statement made to me in that post
  17. Marty fox

Let's examine Revelation 20:4 yet again.

Where do you get there are trillions of angels? I,m not saying that satan is literally bound that’s my whole point
  18. Marty fox

Let's examine Revelation 20:4 yet again.

I wasn’t quoting a scripture I was saying that satan does try to deceive people about who Jesus is which is scriptural 1 John 2 22 Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist—denying the Father and the Son
