The "sudden destruction" from which unbelievers "will not escape" on the day of the Lord will be caused by fire coming down on the earth.

Jesus in Revelation 19:7-8 and Revelation 19:14 returns to earth from heaven with His bride. How and when did Jesus's bride get to heaven ?

The "sudden destruction" from which unbelievers "will not escape" on the day of the Lord will be caused by fire coming down on the earth.

Jesus comes for the resurrection/rapture in 1Thessalonians4:14-18. Which is not the return of Jesus with His bride from heaven in Revelation 19.7-8, Revelation 19:14.

The "sudden destruction" from which unbelievers "will not escape" on the day of the Lord will be caused by fire coming down on the earth.

There is nothing in 2Thessalonians2:1-4 about 42 months of the beast's rule. What is in 2Thessalonians2:1-4 is the day of Christ (the day of the Lord) does not begin until the man of sin is revealed by going into the temple, sitting, claiming to be God.

The "sudden destruction" from which unbelievers "will not escape" on the day of the Lord will be caused by fire coming down on the earth.

The resurrection/rapture to take place before the day of the Lord begins. The day of the Lord (called the day of Christ in 2Thessalonians2:2) will begin when the Antichrist goes into the temple, sits, claiming to be God, in 2Thessalonians2:4. 2Thessalonians2: 1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by...

The "sudden destruction" from which unbelievers "will not escape" on the day of the Lord will be caused by fire coming down on the earth.

@Spiritual Israelite Three points of understanding: 1. Since Jesus returns in Revelation 19 with His bride, both coming from heaven, the resurrection/rapture has to have taken place prior to His return. When ? When does the resurrection/rapture take place? We are told in point 2...

    Why the great chain?

Satan is an angel that rebelled against God. Do angels have legs and hands ? Yes, read Revelation 10:2, Revelation 10:5, and Revelation 10:10.

When Might Satan With His Angels Come to This Earth For the Tribulation?

How Satan will be worshiped is that he will indwell the statue image of the beast-king, making it appear to come alive and speak. When people worship the living statue image, they will unknowingly be worshiping Satan, When Jesus returns, the statue image will be brought up in flames, turned...

    Why the great chain?

Revelation 20 1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, 3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him...

    Why the great chain?

There is no reason to think that either of those are symbolic.

Thanks. Grace and peace to you, as well.

    Why the great chain?

The bottomless pit is a place of isolation from the rest of creation. The bottomless pit is likened to a prison in Revelation 20:7. Revelation 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, which then Satan will go out and deceive the nations into...

    Why the great chain?

The bottomless pit is a place of isolation from the rest of creation. Similar to a prison that isolates inmates from the rest of society. Prison inmates are bound by various methods when taken there. Likewise, the great chain, whether symbolic, physical, or spiritual, represents the...

Let's examine Revelation 20:4 yet again.

The point that Peter was making was not hold too tightly to the things of this world as this world and all of the works therein are going to be burnt up someday - adding more emphasis to what Jesus said in Matthew 6: 19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth...

When Might Satan With His Angels Come to This Earth For the Tribulation?

No, Paul did not say "third heavenly age". Here is what Paul said... 2Corinthians12: 2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. Now, let's look at...

When Might Satan With His Angels Come to This Earth For the Tribulation?

Satan does not actually have to be in the third heaven to accuse people. God hears his accusations no matter where he is. Just as God hears you when you speak to Him.

    My personal eclectic view

Take a look at Daniel 11:45. Antiochus IV died in Persia (modern day Iran). And Antiochus IV was not time of the end. So Daniel 11:45 is not about Antiochus IV. Daniel 1145 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall...

King Jesus will return at the end of this temporal age and then deliver His kingdom to God the Father

Hi Marilyn, While I do believe that Jesus will be here on earth during the millennium, I do think that Jesus will be going back and forth from earth to heaven, from heaven to earth, during that time.

    My personal eclectic view

Antiochus IV was not time of the end. Daniel 12:11 is time of the end, Daniel 12:9. Daniel 11:35 is the transition verse to the time of end. 35 And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet...
