It says in the verse you posted that man became a living soul which it does not say about animals. Hence mankind being a soul but not animals.

If you were speaking the truth, you wouldn't need so many words. That is what false teachers do instead of taking scripture as plainly stated.

Where does it say that he breathed a living soul into animals? It only says that about the creation of man. There is the distinction. That proves you wrong from the very verse you quoted.

You missed my point entirely. I wasn't implying that there's no belief in a rapture. The passage of scripture about hunting souls doesn't sound like the rapture but something entirely different that you have no explanation for.

That's because the verse in matt is obviously symbolic, but when the Bible talks about eternal torment, it means just that, not some odd metaphor that means something less severe. As plainly stated means literal where it is implied and symbolic when it is implied.

You are going in circles. Not taking the scripture as plainly stated is trying to discern it with your own understanding. You are doing the very thing you say those who disagree with you are doing.
