Human Freewill the devil's greatest trick

You nailed it! True Christians want nothing to do with making their own choices because human choices and reasoning leads to trouble. Awesome!

Human Freewill the devil's greatest trick

Sorry. But . . . I'm not asking you to believe me. I'm just a reporter telling what the Bible has to say. A sober reading of the entire Bible should lead anyone to the same conclusion. There's no way around the fact that God has a Plan and that it WILL be fulfilled regardless of the power that...

Now it's not me, but sin that lives in me

Hmmm . . . isn't the greatest Blessing that we can receive the Eternal Work of Christ . . . based upon a Promise and not whether or not we are offensive? Saul, later known as Paul, was certainly offensive to the Cross, yet he received the Lord's Promises and Blessings. Paul was of the Lord's...

    The true grace of God.

Grace can mean raw Power, but in the greatest of Biblical senses, it reflects the Circumcision of Christ. There is no greater Grace than God granting his "Grace, Mercy and Compassion" upon anyone He so chooses (Exo 33:19). Cleansing; the removal of the Curse of Adam and Eve; the sending of the...

Now it's not me, but sin that lives in me

Amazing. I'm not trying to be rude, but have you read the entire Bible? I don't live my life in fear of God. I'm not afraid of Him [because] I am in a Right relationship with him. However, I have a [reverent] fear of the Lord because I have felt His Raw, Almighty Power. I can assure you of this...

    The true grace of God.

Since Grace has so many different meanings, it would be helpful to lay them out and explain them all. Context is everything when discussing Grace.

Human Freewill the devil's greatest trick

Curious . . . how can a person have free will if they're controlled by something, or someone, other than themselves? Romans 8:5-9 NLT - "Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the...

For any Greek scholars out there.

Hmmm . . . what's the context of 1 Peter up to verse 13? Verses 1 & 2 - God's foreknowledge of His Elect, His Chosen, those whom He knew would receive Eternal Life. These verses show us the idea of being sealed by the Holy Spirit; sealed to receive Eternal Life. We also recognize Sanctification...

Now it's not me, but sin that lives in me

Thank God that Paul had the temerity to confront Peter and his inability to endure, for what would have happened to Christianity if Peter were at the helm? Soooo thankful for Gal 2:11 and the story that follows.

Now it's not me, but sin that lives in me

Why do you think that is? That, Paul, was the most Christ-like? I'd say that it was because his meeting with Christ was utterly Powerful. He felt the Power of God in a most profound way. His experience left him knowing, with full certainty, that God could take his life in less than an instant...

Now it's not me, but sin that lives in me

There is no one like Paul throughout the entire Bible. What a remarkable man he was. I hope to meet his Spirit!

Outstanding. I wish that everyone felt as you do. This world would actually be peaceful. :)

CDC reports 501 deaths + 10,574 injuries from the covid vaccine

Sure am sorry to hear of others dying because of these vaccines. However, I must say, there is good reason and cause to sit back and wait to see what happens to the first lot of people. So far, I'm glad that I and the elderly that I care for have not gotten the "jab."

Anyone able to watch Superbowl 55 on their smartphone? If so, how, what URL? App?

I didn't even know "they" were still playing football. I must be getting old!

    Attention Everyone

Not quite. Ears to hear and eyes to see is in reference to the Sinful Nature, and whether or not it has been cut out by Christ. It is when the Curse of Adam and Eve has been lifted when a person is able to see and think clearly. I assure you . . . you do not know the Gospel, for very few...

Your Thoughts: Are The NT/OT Gods "Different"?

Agreed. What's fascinating is how those changed methods all point to themselves. The Bible is so remarkable with its "living allegories," as I like to call them. Amazing.

    Attention Everyone

Ahhh . . . well, I have no control over those things. You'd have to speak with someone greater than myself. Sorry. I have no idea of who that would be.
