    An Unknown Tongue

I know, Im pretty funny...makes serious Christians nuts and mad at me.

    An Unknown Tongue

It wasn't Greek to me...i just read past anything that was confusing and went right to the clear and simple and direct. Psalm 139..Do not worry, ask believe receive, Be anxious for nothing, cast your cares, Delight in the Lord...focus on the things above and not on the earth.. I read what hits...

Jesus never said he was God Almighty

Hi 101, I don't believe anyone questions that there is One God..unless I'm missing something. i do miss a lot! lol I would like to add..humans are so 'dense' and often stuck in only what they can see with 'these' woefully limited eyes or 5 senses, and their limited concepts....that, of course...

Jesus never said he was God Almighty

"We are only to worship God Almighty....we do not glorify Jesus...we glorify God...our Father." Excerpts of APAK's APAK, you will find this funny..I was banned from a very active Christian Forum, in 2010, cuz I started a thread, "Jesus is too much in Christianity" ....What about our Father...

    Are you catholic?

I know, right?....like day and night onced filled with the Holy Spirit..a mind truly renewed!

    Are you catholic?

Am I Catholic? No more. Yesterday I attended a Mem Service at the Cath church I can walk to. I liked the priest very much. But nothing that he said rang true..full of concepts and presumptions...about judgments and hell and sin..oh brother. More about church beliefs impressed onto the crowd than...

    Can you choose God?

! ! Thank you thank you :) Yes! I know! Like Saul on the road. You pray and study, you research and seek, you contemplate and meditate, you surrender and give...and then in one moment He can lift you to a place of pure radiant transcendence and you suddenly know.

    Can you choose God?

Yes semantics...I was born unaware of a million things...and then I learned. I don't call it sin or not believing in something...i simply did not know that each day it would get dark and then later this big warm thing would light up everything...but I learned. I was a new creature in this new...

    An Unknown Tongue

No, i have never heard anyone say the Bible was like a completely foreign language to them like in Spanish. Victory knew what i meant and answered.
  12. Miss Hepburn

    Can you choose God?

i was born not being aware of many things in this world...but i do not call it disbelief, per se...i was very open as are most children..so i would say it differently than you do...i was open and ready to believe. Unaware would be diff to me than saying born with disbelief.

    An Unknown Tongue

Victory...your post made me think of Jeremiah 33:3...'Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.' :)
  14. Miss Hepburn

    Can you choose God?

We are born with disbelief? News to me...children believe anything you tell them...full of wonder and a hunger to 'see' ...what many can not as adults blocked by their logical, intellectual minds. Belief is key, yes..then that leads to direct experience..no need for some kind of blind faith...

    An Unknown Tongue

I don't know. Sometimes he spoke clearly...sometimes in confusing parables. Interesting...3 yrs ago ..picked up God's Word [the Bible?] it was in another language...I don't know what that means...i have never heard anyone say that, with respectful curiousity.

    Calling all Protectors of Truth!

Where did Jesus do battle for Truth? Where was his ego ever?
  17. Miss Hepburn

    Can you choose God?

"After Baptism he gained more of God's power.." Yes, as did I after being baptised in the Holy Spirit...as in, wow! In Jesus' case I would like to add that Jesus immediately took that event with him into a wilderness much like rocky, dry Utah for 40 days and nights alone..magnifying the moment...
  18. Miss Hepburn

    Can you choose God?

yes. But why i came back was to say..did Jesus have free will? Well, we can say of course...but i must say once you have given yourself to God or given yourself over to doing God's Will...and not the ego's will filled with pride and angers, laziness and fears...it is as if you don't have free...

    Can you choose God?

it is my destiny to connect again consciously with my Creator God Father...just as it is impossible for a drop of water to NOT return to its source...thru many ways ..rain, evaporation , the sewer ..but eventually it empties back to the Ocean. Perhaps 'when' that occurs is my free will...later...

Let This Mind Be In You

Another friend lost hope at her job..the Principal didnt like her. I asked if she was a Christian..i never had asked what her beliefs were, but, now she took me to lunch seeking my counsel. We talked about "either you practice what Jesus said or you dont"... I said, "Ask....believe it has...
