    When God lets you down

Many years ago, for over three months, I prayed daily (every morning) before going to work, for patience. You see, I was being hassled by seniority workers. But every day was the same old hassle, and nothing changed. Then one morning as I was about to do my prayer again, I stopped in my tracks...

Christians mistreating other Christians over doctrinal differences

James 1:22-26 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. 23. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror. 24. and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like...

Y do U believe what U believe, and do U have good reasons 4 those beliefs? - let's find out.

Some eighteen years ago, my love of my life wanted to leave. After the initial shock, I realized that my love for her was not based on self, but I simply loved her for who she is, and I was ever so grateful for the privilege of her being in my life for nearly ten years. I absolutely surrender to...

Christians mistreating other Christians over doctrinal differences

Great verse from Paul. For me, any form of tension is a red flag to remind me to accept, accept, accept. Let go _ let God. And in my surrender to Truth everything becomes clear to me; in Christ I am okay, always have been okay, and will always be okay. In that awakening surrender I love the...

Nothing, if we believe we are already okay in Christ Jesus.

Christians mistreating other Christians over doctrinal differences

No it is not obvious to those without faith (open and honest heart) to hear it. John 18:37 "You are a king, then!" said Pilate. Jesus answered, "You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to...

I wrote plainly, I did not have to try, it's as obvious as truth is.

Christians mistreating other Christians over doctrinal differences

After all these years of witnessing your posts, you are still exploiting others to exploit yourself.

Sorry my grammar distracts you. Over the years I have become more simple, cutting to the point, and leaving out unnecessary words. In compensation I repeat myself, and for this I have been accused for being com-parable. bbyrd009, you are more aware of the truth than you wish to find out. You...

"it" refers to the word 'dishonest'. Rephrased: 'As clever as one can be dishonest, that dishonesty can never make itself honest.'

As clever as one can be dishonest, it can never make itself honest.

Your awareness of being honest is a consciousness of honesty.

Christians mistreating other Christians over doctrinal differences

All that you are conscious (aware) of is being honest. Not because of an agenda/issue, but pure honesty of mind. Tension is holding on, instead of letting go. We all have subtle forms of tension we act upon. Maybe the dog can't get out for a whizz because you did not 'want' it to run freely...

Christians mistreating other Christians over doctrinal differences

Consciously dishonest. Tensions vary from very subtle to the obvious. The obvious ones are least expressed, but the subtle ones are the most experienced. A state of internal rest, peace, love, softness of being, gentle, humble and meek, honesty, point to having no issues/agendas...

ah, dishonesty is a human condition of the world we live in. Every time we create a personal issue or an agenda, tension arises in us, and we again experience dishonesty of consciousness _ our red flag that reminds us to let go let God.

How does Christianity Board handle personal attacks?

I was not referring to you personally. I was referring to your statement of a person. As in '...you don't need to play the game unless you also have an issue or an agenda.' my added words in italic.

    Interpreting Romans 6:23 In Context

Sin is being dishonest. To counteract sin is to be honest, and through continual faith (surrender + honesty) in Christ Jesus (Truth) one can remain honest, or live the way of truth.

'Fluffy' sounds very restful. You can absolutely rest in Truth. Honesty is touched by Truth, love and faith. Dishonesty is touched by deception, fear and doubt.
