God's Word does ""not"" teach that baptism is essential for salvation.

It's just so obvious . . . isn't it? Whew . . . good luck with this battle. I'll leave it up to you guys! I'd rather talk about how the Brethren Love each other. :)

    Mother of James?

It isn't "interesting," because I have no problem telling you that I am in the wrong. I will no longer post on this portion of the forum. Please forgive me. I am very sorry.

OSAS Deniers can “ Sin and Get Away With It Too! Here’s How!

Ok, well please don't treat me in this manner. I find mature conversation to be much more fruitful.

Brutal, just brutal. Please, let us not talk like this to each other. I beg of us . . . we've got to be kind to each other.

    Mother of James?

I'm not interested in arguing with anyone because I am not controlled by the Mind of the Devil and His Sinful Nature. I do not belong to this World. I wish all good and Heavenly Blessings for you (and I am sincere in that.) 1 Corinthians 3:2-3 NLT - "I had to feed you with milk, not with solid...

100%, and it is my entire family that now hates me, just as did the brothers of the one who had been Transformed.

I won't be arguing after this post. It is futile. Acts 2.38 is not what you're making it to be. Happy Thanksgiving! (I will no longer be watching this thread. Don't expect any replies.)

And I should add that this means that my former water baptism meant absolutely nothing. Which is why, with my hair still wet, I walked down to the local seven-eleven and stole a bag of rubber bands for my Paper Route. I was 12 years old. Worldly baptism means nothing.

God's Word does ""not"" teach that baptism is essential for salvation.

Yes, I was seconds away from death as I was under Holy Terror, about to explode from within. After about a minute and a half of this deadly Terror, I began calling out to my Lord and God, and just as Powerfully, our Holy and Mighty God Indwelt me, more like encapsulated me in His Holy Love and...

God's Word does ""not"" teach that baptism is essential for salvation.

Exactly. And it represents the exact same thing as does physical Circumcision, for it represents the exact same Faith that we have today. Baptism is the "new" circumcision, an operation done by the hands of men, that reflects the Operation by the Holy Hands of Christ. Romans 4:11 KJV - 11 And...

No. What is your agenda? You haven't been particularly kind to people (here), so I am hesitant.

Okie doke. Well, I was conclusively Indwelt by the Holy Spirit in the Arizona Desert. I cannot make that physical experience go away. No one could ever convince me otherwise. I apologize if I seem rude, but I cannot and will not deny my Indwelling that did not include one drop of water. Happy...

God's Word does ""not"" teach that baptism is essential for salvation.

If it did, it would mean that no one could receive Christ in their final minutes while in the desert, where there is no water. God does not depend upon one, meager, measly, earthly thing to grant Holy Salvation. Why would God require something worldly, something from Below, to make Holy and...

    Mother of James?

I'm not going to take the "bait." :) I'd rather not argue. If I cannot have a reasonable conversation with someone, I'd rather handle it as did Paul handle Timothy in 2nd Timothy, Paul's final letter. Happy Thanksgiving, Soul! I wish you all Blessings in the Heavenly Realms!

Members from other forums, esp. WCF

I hear you. If I lived in a perfect Christian world, I would choose to see us interact with each other according to the principle found in 2nd Timothy. Timothy has left an entire congregation in the hands of two, false-renegade teachers. That means that souls are at stake. What is worse than...

I would never agree with your Illumination on this matter, so I will just have to walk away from this discussion. Have a good T-Day!

OSAS Deniers can “ Sin and Get Away With It Too! Here’s How!

Exactly. And this is why Paul called to have disobedience removed from any Church, for sin spreads throughout the Church as does yeast throughout bread. "hand this man over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved on the day of the Lord." Punishing sin is what...
