    Salvation Through Baptism ???

Just as English translation does not lock us into the idea that baptism is a prerequisite for salvation, the English does not assert or demand which of the meanings of "eis" we should choose in Acts 2:38. “On account of the remission of sins” is the only Scripturally consistent translation to...

    Salvation Through Baptism ???

Ironically, many people have been water baptized and are still waiting to be born again! You are correct! Just because water does not save you, is no reason to defy the command to do so!

    Salvation Through Baptism ???

Is it even talking about "water" baptism? Why could it not be speaking of spiritual baptism? Some people have water on the brain! They add water where the word "baptizo" does not have any water in it!

    Salvation Through Baptism ???

Thank you for proving that one does not have to be baptized in order to be saved in the New Covenant! John 19:32 says that the other two criminals on the cross had their legs broken to expedite their deaths... and that when they came to Jesus, He was already dead, fulfilling the prophecy "Not a...

    Salvation Through Baptism ???

I can however, show that they all drove around in a Honda! The Bible says that they were all in one Accord! (Acts 1:14)! Should I make what you drive a salvation issue?

    Salvation Through Baptism ???

One single Biblical example that shows someone saved apart from water baptism is sufficient proof that baptism is not essential to get saved. It is a factor that just cannot be evaded if one is to truly "checking out all the verses on baptism." One does not get a full view of baptism by reading...

    Temporal Salvation?

Who shall not be plucked out of the hand of Jesus? The Sheep! Who cannot be plucked out of the Father's hand?" The Sheep! Who is a Sheep? Jesus tells us! Only the one who present tense hears and present tense follows Him! If you cease to listen and follow, you are not a Sheep! That is what...

    Salvation Through Baptism ???

Faith in water is strong in many people; just like many Jews believed that circumcision saved them.

    Salvation Through Baptism ???

I would say that the Scriptures are specific here; salvation is by grace through faith, and not of works. (Eph. 2: 8-9). Yet, we are told to keep His commandments (1 Jn. 2:3-4), and if we don't, we lie about knowing Him. Obedience is expected, and that if you are saved, you will be in fellowship...

    Salvation Through Baptism ???

Nothing in the passage says anything about immersion. (BTW, you meant verse 33.)

    Temporal Salvation?

What an oxymoron, saying that you can gain possession of an Eternal Pearl in time, and that just because you obtained it, you could never lose it or throw it away! Go ahead, dismiss the condition Jesus set, and only believe the half of Scripture that you like!

    Temporal Salvation?

The passage is conditional. Eternal Life has no beginning... it's Eternal... Is that the logic you use? If it can be gained, the condition must be present to have it presently. Jesus sets the condition, and I would not suggest correcting Him by your human concept of Eternal to void it.

    Temporal Salvation?

A present tense belief, as is in the passage you allude to, is the condition of a present tense Eternal Life. No present tense faith, not present tense Eternal Life!

    Salvation Through Baptism ???

There is not one drop of water in either passage, alone enough to immerse anyone in it! And yet, Jesus follows up with what He says with... "That which is BORN OF THE FLESH IS FLESH; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit" Tell me, what child is "born of the Sprit" and not "Flesh"...

    Salvation Through Baptism ???

It says not a single thing about leaving the prison to look for a river to immerse in. In fact, if they escaped, the "keeper" of the prison was going to commit suicide because he was accountable and would be punished for losing them; but did not leave. They were "lead forward", apparently into...

    Spotting the Heretic

"You reader, or any other truly born again Christian, cannot read Eternal Security verses and get Eternal Security "out of " them. The only way that Eternal Security can be attached to these verses is to "read it into" them. This proves that Eternal Security is an extra-Biblical, external...

    Salvation Through Baptism ???

Acts 2:38 speaks of baptism after salvation (the Greek tenses are emphatic), 1 Peter 3:21 speaks of baptism being a FIGURE, not the cleansing of the flesh, and is for a "good conscience" and not salvation. Mark 16:16 is looked at by many as the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, for there is no water...

What are Your Feelings on Tithes

And you do not have an once of Bible in you concerning Tithing in the New Testament. God will be no more impressed by your obedience to a rule that He never commanded of Christians, anymore than if you "sacrificed" and gave up chocolate for 40 days, ate only fish as meat on Fridays, or genuflected.

The true "ABIDING" in Christ, vs the heretic.

The Bible is full of promises, exhortations, and warnings. Promises emphasize God's work towards us, while exhortations and warnings are our responsibility towards God. The following word study is intended to stress the obligation of mankind in the salvation process. To limit this study to a...

The true "ABIDING" in Christ, vs the heretic.

Please don't respond if you are that clueless! When you make accusations without any facts, it goes to show how you end up with such a disastrous "theology."
