Me? Hardly ever. But I really don't know why I was referenced.

    Understanding : Under Grace

According to you and your Calvinism, worrying won't change a thing. According to you, I am either one of the elect or I am not and there is nothing I can do to change that. So why in the world would you suggest that I worry? And in fact I should really just eat, drink and be merry because...

"Faith is believing what you know ain't so" (Mark Twain).

The complete is the Word of God given by the NT authors under the authority and guidance of the Holy Spirit Supernatural prophecies and supernatural knowledge from the Holy Spirit. Why would you ask me that? Perhaps because I don't think it came from you?

"Faith is believing what you know ain't so" (Mark Twain).

When? Clearly it was in Paul's past that he was speaking about there. 1Co 9:1 Am I not free? Am I not an apostle? Have I not seen Jesus our Lord? Are not you my workmanship in the Lord? 1Co 9:2 If to others I am not an apostle, at least I am to you, for you are the seal of my apostleship in...

"Faith is believing what you know ain't so" (Mark Twain).

The point of all such miraculous spiritual gifts was to authenticate the message of the one with such gifts. With the complete Bible, there really is nothing more needed. So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ (Rom 10:17). The word of Christ is complete in the Bible.

Unfortunately the Continuationist position is on that presents the Scriptures as not really sufficient to bring one to a knowledge of the gospel.

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

As I said before, Rella, hang in there because Logikos is very confused about all of this. His latest post is a bit of irony given his ID. That entire mess about infallible foreknowledge is screwed up illogical nonsense.

    Kinda like theologians, huh?

You certainly demonstrate that clearly enough.

    Understanding : Under Grace

That doesn't make any sense at all. In keeping and honoring all the commandments of God perfectly, Jesus didn't do anything more than God asked of each person. What all that keeping and honoring of all the commandments of God perfectly actually accomplished was to establish Jesus as the one...

"Faith is believing what you know ain't so" (Mark Twain).

I agree with the first part of your statement. I am not sure your understanding of the last part about Matthew 10:23. The apostles did not even understand the gospel and its meaning until after Jesus had ascended to the right hand of the Father and the apostles had been filled with the Holy...

"Faith is believing what you know ain't so" (Mark Twain).

He is God. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:2 He was in the beginning with God. You can state it as many times as you like and each time you do you will be wrong. There is never stated to be any covenant between Jesus and God...

Good for you Rella, He is wrong.

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

God's foreknowledge is simply His omniscience with respect to the future. And yes indeed, it is infallible, it is perfect, it is complete in every sense. Your idea that infallible foreknowledge would mean that we have no free will is what some might agree with, but it is wrong. Foreknowledge...

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

Do not let your relationship with God be dependent upon what others might think or how others might act.

"Faith is believing what you know ain't so" (Mark Twain).

I suspect, but can't prove, that until the events of Acts 10 and 11, the usual thinking even by Peter and the rest was to interpret Jesus' command in Matthew 28 concerning all nations in a context not unlike what existed under the Old Covenant. And that was that a Gentile was first converted to...
