ok cool. i think that if jesus wanted us to focus on the timing of the rapture, he would have been more clear on when it takes place. so let's focus on other issues after all, if that's the only thing two people disagree on, then they have plenty in common.

in2thelight your posts are ridiculous. people don't believe in their enterpretation of scripture concerning the rapture based upon fear. they believe it because they believe it's in scripture.. i've already stated in this thread that i don't care to debate the rapture and i haven't even stated...

your post is offensive and misleading where you speak of a bunch of saints who weren't raptured from their personal tribulation when in the same bible noah and lot were saved from the literal judgement from God that came upon sodom, gomorrah, and the entire world..

veteran, first of all, just cause you say something goes against scripture doesn't mean it does. secondly, i don't want to discuss the rapture anymore. on another note, what order do you believe in where pre trib is in opposition to? what are you referring to there?

i already did in post #62 that's why i hate arguing about the timing of the rapture. that's why i say, if the rapture is the only thing people disagree on, then they have plenty in common.

i have noticed some animosity towards pre tribbers. (not that i care to argue the timing of the trib) there was even someone teaching about it and he literally looked angry when refering to the pre trib idea. what does this mean? what type of motives does someone have when they hold all this...

the word rapture isn't in the bible. the word rapture means to be caught up or snatched away so the meaning is there. you know the word trinity isn't in the bible either but the meaning is there. by your logic the trinity shouldn't exist. 1 thessalonians 4:17 then we which are alive and remain...

they don't. people don't believe in the rapture because of wishfull thinking. they believe in it b/c of it being in the word.

thanks for explaining veteran. however the part that doesn't make sence to me still is where 1/3 of men are killed with a spiritual death. because we know more than 1/3 of mankind will follow the beast and die a spiritual death so what sets this 1/3 part of mankind from the rest??
