The Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard, Part 4

"We have left all, and followed Thee;" cried Peter, "what, then, shall we have." And no words could have more conclusively shown Peter’s lack of sympathy with his Master. It is easy to conceive how this boast and question must have jarred on the heart of Christ. He was full of pity for the...

The Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard, Part 3

The Rich Young Man Whom Jesus Loved “To properly understand the Parable of the Laborers in the Vineyard it must be studied, like all Scripture, with reference to its context. And to do this in the present instance it is necessary to go back to the previous chapter. (The division is at an...

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

You too, my friend are entitled to your opinion, however that does not make it correct, it is still only an opinion.

"Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Faith" - Has 500 Years Taught Us Nothing?

She (Catholicism, the system, NOT the individual Catholics in the church) is not called the Mother of Harlots (plural) for no reason, she has daughters all of whom share her spirit (i.e. the various Protestant denominations), who have even consented that she is the mother church. Both mother...

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

I would suggest you take a look at our blog post entitled, How to Choose a Bible Translation, it will reveal to you just how poorly your beloved KJV is rated amoungst many of the various translations.

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

We stated:If Jesus were God, whom would God have to become obedient to? No one! Therefore, this must be another entity, namely, his only begotten Son, clearly distinguishable from the Heavenly Father. Once again your humor astounds. If however the first is found to be constructed of "wood...

I got a good laugh out of that one.

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

The LAW OF CONTRADICTION states if a rational reason cannot be given in a contradiction, then both cannot be true or false at the same time and in the same sense. If the trinity is a mystery and cannot be reasoned then it is inherent contradiction and cannot be true.

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

A discipline mind is one which is not prone to mere hearsay nor to the "assumptions" and "opinions" of others, but one which is able to reason for itself (through the divine testimony), it is not blown about by every wind of doctrine or teaching, in this case the doctrine of the Trinity, but is...

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

“In him dwells all the fullness of the deity (divine nature) bodily.” The Greek word “theos” should not have been translated godhead in Col 2:9, but rather divine or deity. This is also applied to Acts 17:29 and Rom 1:20. Deity refers to divine power and attributes, rather than persons and...

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

The possession of the spirit of a sound mind (2 Tim 1:7) has nothing to do with whether or not you lack self control, its about having sound judgement, being able to assess all the facts without bias or prejudiced, to be able to put aside all preconceived ideas and to rightly divide the word of...

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

We only delved into the root meaning of “spirit” to emphasize that like the “wind” it is an invisible and powerful influence. This spirit proceeds from the Father; it is his holy essence, his holy disposition, thus his spirit, even as the same spirit or disposition is found in Christ and all who...

“Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of...

Proof of the Trinity. No takers?

For more on this which you probably already know you may wish to visit our blog post on this site and view two informative articles, one entitled, “Arians and Trinitarians” and the other “The Holy Spirit”. With respects to this erroneous doctrine we would say that thus far you have presented...

The Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard, Part 2

Two Erroneous Solutions Two very ingenious, but, to our understanding, erroneous, solutions of these difficulties are worth a moment's attention. The main difficulty of the parable is, of course, the apparent injustice of giving all the laborers the same wage. And to escape this difficulty some...

The Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard, Part 1

“For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard. Now when he had agreed with the laborers for a denarius a day, he sent them into his vineyard. And he went out about the third hour and saw others standing idle in the marketplace...

    The Study of Revelation

“Then it was revealed in my hearing by the Lord of hosts, “Surely for this iniquity there will be no atonement for you, Even to your death,” says the Lord God of hosts.” (Isa 22:14) This Chapter is a prophecy against “the valley of vision.” It concerns Judah. The “valley of vision” being in...
