I believe you. I always have avoided their teachings ...like I said, it just didn't feel right (spiritual atmosphere around them). I'll try to read through more of your posts tomorrow and the following days.

This is good to know. My "gut" ...or the sense in my spirit ...that I always have had around JW and their teachings was "YUCK/cult." But I have never actually looked into what they believe in detail.

Did you actually answer any of those questions? Or did you just pose them? To me, it's enough that Jesus advised they buy swords. He didn't tell them to go about forcing people or killing people. But they were for a reason. The obvious reason is defense (not offense).

I'll be specific. Would you throw punches, or some other form of physical action? Would you use a gun, even if not aiming to kill? That may be tricky if you're not a great aim.
