    No-one has gone to heaven?

One of those false doctrines is universalism. Are you a universalist?

God or LORD God, Which is it?

Lol, so who is this second God?

God or LORD God, Which is it?

    This makes no sense whatsoever.

    No-one has gone to heaven?

So, what Jesus said about the afterlife is laughable. Ok, then.

    No-one has gone to heaven?

Why are you so insistent about it not having another meaning? Could it be because, Jesus teaches here that heaven and hell are both real, literal places and your whole doctrine rests on that not being true? When believers die, they are immediately in the conscious fellowship and joys of...

    The Grace of God

That would make Christ's sacrifice only sufficient for sins commited before salvation. Christ became sin for us. He took all our sins on himself, not just some.

    No-one has gone to heaven?

BTW, comparing Jesus parables to Aesop's fables, should make you more than a little queasy. Jesus wasn't telling fairy tales, with a nice little moral at the end. He was teaching deep spiritual truths.

    No-one has gone to heaven?

Renniks, You lack understanding by picking out single verses instead of reading and understanding thea entire passage to get the full meaning. You saying Paul's words meant on dying he would be with Christ in heaven - yet the passage quite clearly shows Paul was once again in prison from...

    No-one has gone to heaven?

My point stands. I've read tons of fiction. Of course they have a message. But his parables are set in real life situations. And he doesn't usually use names, which to me, makes it more than a parable. Jesus could have just as easily said that the poor man just rose from his grave, and tried to...

    No-one has gone to heaven?

All scriptures used to teach soul-sleep clearly refer to the body which does sleep in the dust of the earth until the resurrection of the body (Daniel 12:2; John 5:28-29). The body is the only part of man that dies at physical death (James 2:26). The reason it dies is because the inner man...

    No-one has gone to heaven?

Well if you take what David and Solomon said in poetic verses about death over Jesus' clear teaching, I have to wonder about your theology. They don't contradict Jesus' teaching, they are just incomplete.

    No-one has gone to heaven?

In Jesus parables, he used real world illustrations. A farmer goes out to plant a field... A sheep is is lost or coin is lost... He did not create fantasy worlds. And he especially would not teach a false doctrine of who God was and how he rewards and punishes. That would make him a false teacher.

    No-one has gone to heaven?

First, we don't know if it's fiction. Second, why would Jesus deliberately create a false idea of what heaven and hell are? That's absurd.

It would help if you told us what cult you are promoting. Can't make any sense of your criptic insults. I quoted scripture, which you claim comes from Satan.?

    No-one has gone to heaven?

His body is still in his grave. His soul is with his Savior. " My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him. ... Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor...

    Misreading Paul through Luther

Luther was right to rebel against a church that taught salvation by works and money. Did he go too far the other way, or is it only that some misunderstand him? And why do you have a grudge against him? He did something to expose corruption, when most didn't have the courage. He weren't perfect...

The biblical truth is a dialectical equation

Where? If someone is righteous it's because they have followed Gods ways, whether they recognize him yet or not.

    No-one has gone to heaven?

Where in scripture does it say anyone is asleep in Jesus? At the Transfiguration of Jesus (Matt. 17:1-8) we see Moses and Elijah who were alive, they were not sleeping in their graves. In Revelation 6:10 we see the account of people being conscious after death and asking God, "How long, O...

    No-one has gone to heaven?

Boy, you are more messed up theologically than I thought. To suppose Jesus just made up an imaginary world to make a point, and what point was that? Just before this parable, Jesus tells another parable about wealth (Luke 16:1–13)—and the passage in between (16:14–18) finds Jesus rebuking the...
