No one has ever told me I can't sing. Some have said they liked my voice. But I'm pretty average. But .....when I sing, it's not gonna be on a stage as unto men. ;)

The Lord allowed me to hear what our prayers and worship sound like on heaven's side. It's beautiful beyond words!!! Even our prayers sound like a song in heaven. It doesn't matter if our voice is scratchy or off key .....whew!!! Powerful!!

If you're focused on him rather than being conscious of yourself and others .....yes.

I can carry a tune, but I don't have a beautiful voice, imo. But the Holy Spirit has come over me and in worship, have sang in tongues. It was powerfully intimate ....when it's not about who's around you, but just communing with Him.

I side with the church. Since when is "our best" supposed to measure up to a man's standard? You have it all wrong. It's horrible to deny and condemn people who are genuine in their heart of worship toward the Lord. I think pride is at the root of this.

Ask the Lord to give you His heart in this matter. Everyone deserves the right to worship and sing, no matter what they sound like. Just saying.....

I absolutely love this!! This is where I find the most freedom, when it's just me and Him, singing to Him from my heart ....whether alone or amongst brothers and sisters. But always, just me and Him.❤️

Beware, though .....works are not the answer. We are called first, to love the Lord our God with all our soul, heart, mind, might. Works will flow from that foundation. Otherwise, we are trusting in self and what happens when we fail? We can't rely on our works, but His work in and through us...
