What do you think about gender equality in Christianity?

Two women endorsed and commended by Paul as co-laborers in the Gospel....Euodias and Syntyche. Philippians 4:1-3 (KJV) ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¹ Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved. ² I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche...

    Understanding MPD/DID & SRA/MK

This is random, but y'all may need to decipher a lot of my posts because I'm finding out that autocorrect is creating tons of typos. I went and edited. LOL

    Understanding MPD/DID & SRA/MK

Funny! Interestingly, I was extremely quiet most of the time to the point people would ask if I talked. There was so much going on internally, my life being so much in danger all the time. I had a system of front alters who were always assessing our environment. I was the part (of the front...

Very well said, brother. This has been my experience as well. Having things in writing also helps knock out denial. When merging takes place, you'll notice all these different aspects of your different parts, on a conscious level.

What do you think about gender equality in Christianity?

LoL! Eve didn't make Adam eat the fruit. This is laughable. Scripture says he was with her when she was deceived. Why did he not open his mouth and stop her, and give her the truth that God had spoken so that she could recognize the deception?? He wilfully stood there and watched her be...

What do you think about gender equality in Christianity?

As @Tone mentioned earlier, the key word is "usurp" which is something no woman nor any person should do. There are clear examples of women holding various offices in the church, including prophetess, deaconess, teachers, and pastors. God didn't condemn or prevent it. This being the case, it...

    Understanding MPD/DID & SRA/MK

It may not be safe to physically fight back. It all depends on your specific circumstance. The best way to fight back if this person is in your home is to work with your alters, break free of programming, build your relationship with the Lord so that you are built up and strengthened. I have...

    Understanding MPD/DID & SRA/MK

Sis, am I missing something? I thought you were asking about someone putting their face down close to your food and touching your head, etc. What did I miss? I was calling that person rude.... not you.

    Understanding MPD/DID & SRA/MK

If it was maybe my father.... no, absolutely not. I don't remember ever physically fighting back other than trying to get away. But he didn't do things like that (putting his face in my food, or touching my head, etc) at other times. Most of the time, things were pretty "normal" in our...

    Understanding MPD/DID & SRA/MK

It may or may not be. It could be just a rude person who has no sense of boundaries. If this person was a handler, it depends on if I was conscious of their behaviors. Let's say, it's a family member (which I deal with on a regular basis). I have become very bold and straightforward with them...

    Understanding MPD/DID & SRA/MK

Oh, yes.... I have met many male survivors. They just were unaware or else not willing to break free, because there is a high price. But the persecution we face in this life is a "light affliction" compared to the eternal price of choosing to remain in bondage.

    Understanding MPD/DID & SRA/MK

*hugs* Sis, I was referring to the statement the male survivor said, not to anything you said. What he said is odd. This thread applies to anyone dealing with DID. I think you belong in this conversation as long as you're comfortable with it.

    Understanding MPD/DID & SRA/MK

No, you're not just making a big deal. Those are behaviors that aren't normal. I'd like to slap his face right into the plate if someone did that to me. It's rude, an invasion of personal space, and downright weird.

Wow, very strange. I can't wrap my mind around that kind of statement.

    Understanding MPD/DID & SRA/MK

Male survivors aren't rare. What is rare is male survivors who overcome denial and embark on the journey to freedom, which involves deprogramming. There are way more female survivors who make that journey.

None of those things make up for false teachings ... you are twisting scripture. I won't agree with that.

What do you think about gender equality in Christianity?

You have refused to acknowledge where I replied to you. I can't help that. There's no problem with a husband being the head of the wife, since he is to love her as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for it. He is to nourish her as his own body (not use and abuse it). He is to wash her...
