Irrefutable proof that Jesus is God.

@BARNEY BRIGHT, "God and His Father" God has a Father; why can't you see that? Jesus is obviously God. I hope that you realize that if you continue to deny this, you will die in your sins (John 8:24).

    Seeing Sanctification

Love actually is a law; it is the greatest of the commandments. And therefore, to violate it is the greatest sin.

    Spotting the Heretic

I am saying that I did not say the first time what I said the second time. You claimed I said it the first time. I did not. But in my second statement I wanted to make it clear to you that I would have said it if it had been called for, for me to say it. Thankfully I have not stolen...

Eternal Life = Eternal Security = Born again.

It is not talking about the state of nations but of the hearts of men. There is total depravity in every unregenerated heart (Jeremiah 17:9, Ephesians 2:1, 2 Corinthians 5:14).

    Jesus and Zeus

    Ridiculous.

    Spotting the Heretic

He has declared us eternally saved, who have heard His word and believed on the One who sent Him. Jhn 5:24, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto...

They're not accepting cash at Wal-Mart...

I don't know. I asked them the reason for it and they said it was because they couldn't get a hold of any coins.

Eternal Life = Eternal Security = Born again.

No; Paul was using that verse out of the Old Testament in order to show forth the doctrine of the Total Depravity of the sinner. Jeremiah 17:9 declares what is the state of the heart of an unbeliever.

    The Twins

@Behold may be off-base on a few things... But his story of the two nuns is based on biblical truths. If you think that it isn't, that says to me that you are the one who doesn't have any understanding of the gospel message.

    Spotting the Heretic

It is His faith initially, and ours ultimately. It is faith that is given to us by Him. Once it is given to us, it belongs to us. He does in fact seal us by the Holy Spirit so that His faith within us will keep us as He motivates us by the Spirit to abide in Him through that faith.

Eternal Life = Eternal Security = Born again.

I want to give a short teaching here. Romans 3:10-18 is qualified by verses 9 and 19. Compare Romans 3:9 to 1 Corinthians 10:32. There are three people groups in scripture: Jews, Gentiles, and the church of God. All are confined under sin; both Jews and Gentiles. But not the church of God...

Eternal Life = Eternal Security = Born again.

Rom 3:12, They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Christians and the Law of Moses

We receive the Holy Spirit by faith (Galatians 3:14) and as a result we bear the fruit of the Spirit against which there is no law (Galatians 5:22-23). Therefore, we have a righteousness apart from the law that is attested to by the law and the prophets (Romans 3:21). We do not obtain this...

Christians and the Law of Moses

The law that is written on our hearts and minds is as it has been changed (Hebrews 7:12) from the letter to the spirit (Romans 7:6, 2 Corinthians 3:6).

    Discernment vs Critisism

To everyone else. If you believe her that you are without sin, you will be deceiving yourself and the truth will not be in you. If you are a child of God, you are not a sinner in that you "do not" and "can not' sin (1 John 3:9) as one who is born of God, and that you "sin not" (1 John 3:6) as...

    What is "Amazing Grace"?

Actually, I know that my position stands firm in Christ whether I confess to Him or not. But my relationship / fellowship / connectedness to Christ is in jeopardy if I have unconfessed sin in my life. That's why we need the Holy Spirit. When we mess up, He is able to pinpoint our sin to us so...

    What is "Amazing Grace"?

Do you deny what it says in 1 John 1:9? That we are forgiven of our sins as a direct reult of confessing them? What is your interpretation of the verse in question? Do you accept it literally or do you put some kind of spin on it so that it does not mean what it says? Here it is: 1Jo 1:9...

    Discernment vs Critisism

If I commit an unintentional sin, it is still a sin. And if I sin, I am a sinner.

    The Twins

It is not my favorite verse in the Bible. But it does contradict just about everything that you try to teach on these boards.
