You are speaking some weird things of YOUR own imagination. Most of the woes of the OT Jews was because Gods Commandments were CONDITIONAL. If you do this, I will do this, if you do not do this then this or that will befall you. We are now under grace and, yes, we live with the consequences...

We should prefer instead (of course) blessing for blessing :) Contentment in Him is the peace that we do have...how He blesses us! We have more than one could ever need in material things. The only blessings we should be seeking are Spiritual blessings...
