    intentional sins?

But not *self-effort*...and it is disputable as to whether he is exercising *human effort*. Because his labouring in context is according to the grace of God; and therefore it would be motivated by the Spirit rather than the flesh.

If you don't Believe and like Prosperity you won't like Heaven.

Did these people, who had everything collapse, give everything they had as a last resort in the hopes that God would immediately bring a return? Or, did they consistently give their tithes in obedience to God, not expecting anything in return; but believing in His promise of Philippians 4:19...

    Misrepresentation of the Law

Faith writes the law in your mind and in your heart. Through faith we receive the Holy Spirit, Galatians 3:14. And through the Holy Ghost we receive the love of the Lord, Romans 5:5, Galatians 5:22-23. This love is the fulfilling of the righteousness of the law within us, Romans 13:8-10...

    intentional sins?

I would say that this passage (1 Corinthians 15:10) does not teach that grace makes us work to subdue our lower nature; while it may in fact be a reality. What this passage teaches is that the grace of our Lord motivated Paul to be the penner of more holy scripture than all of the other...

What to do about Carnal moments.

If righteousness is indeed given to us, then it now belongs to us. Of course it is Christ's righteousness that is given to us. Even a practical righteousness wherein we become righteous even as He is righteous. 1 John 3:7, Matthew 5:6, Romans 5:19.

How does the Theory of Penal Substitution Atonement necessitate the Cross?

There is a very important word in that passage, "BUT"..."He was pierced through for our transgressions; He was crushed for our iniquities." If you don't see PSA in these verses, you won't see it anywhere else. It remains that the doctrine is clearly espoused in this passage and others. 2Co...

    Who are you ?

Where in the context of Romans 3:23 is such a thing indicated?

If you don't Believe and like Prosperity you won't like Heaven.

It is a very wonderful thing to know that you don't have to worry about what you will eat or drink or wear... And you can have this lack of worry if you put your trust in God...seeking first His kingdom, and His righteousness...then all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33.

If you don't Believe and like Prosperity you won't like Heaven.

I have never heard any of those stories...were they giving the established 10%? Mal 3:8, Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Mal 3:9, Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. Mal 3:10...

If you don't Believe and like Prosperity you won't like Heaven.

Again, I believe that there has been unnecessary division in the body of Christ over this subject.

If you don't Believe and like Prosperity you won't like Heaven.

Hey...I don't believe that "prosperity"..."health and wealth" is the gospel. I do know that the Bible speaks on the issue in a limited fashion and that there are some who have lambasted those who have taught faithfully on the subject. I believe the subject ought to be addressed when it comes...

If you don't Believe and like Prosperity you won't like Heaven.

If you read the scriptures that are presented you may even be enlightened to a certain extent.

If you don't Believe and like Prosperity you won't like Heaven.

Just who or what are you referring to?

If you don't Believe and like Prosperity you won't like Heaven.

Apparently you haven't read all of my posts on this matter in the three threads that have applied to this subject over the past week or so (two of them are now in the unorthodox section of the boards). I have sought to bring a balance to the equation. I am not saying that we ought to do things...

GENTILES NOT IN THE BODY OF CHRIST

John 3:16? Yes there is something in its context. John 3:14-15 speaks of the Cross in a very profound manner. Heb 13:9, Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that...

If you don't Believe and like Prosperity you won't like Heaven.

Context never nullifies the plain meaning of a verse. This is a first rule of hermeneutics.

    intentional sins?

Let go and let God... Salvation is a place of rest. Hebrews 4:10-12.

    intentional sins?

The kjv makes it a little bit clearer, while I can also exegete the proper meaning from the version you quoted it out of: 1Co 15:10, But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the...

If you don't Believe and like Prosperity you won't like Heaven.

2 Corinthians 9:6 and its immediate context. The immediate context makes it to be referring to a financial seed. In order to make it be talking about the seed of the word of God, you have to utilize a 1 Corinthians 2:13 (kjv) hermeneutic and compare it to Luke 8:11. That is what the...
